English

“Please speak of recitation” means to request instruction. Whoever meditates on the three indestructible vajras, through the sequence of recitation with complete limbs, will attain wisdoms such as the mirror-like wisdom of the Buddha. Similarly, through the practice of vajra recitation, blessed by all Buddhas, the yogi will become the nature of all Buddhas. The unique vajra recitation is not spoken by the Bhagavan, however, as long as the lineage is the distinction of the five Tathagatas, all new mantras are Vajradhara, it is his distinction. For example, the names of body, speech, and mind symbolize the luminosity of body, speech, and mind, whoever attains it, that is how it is declared. Again, for example, mantras are condensed into the nature of three letters, their recitation is free from vocal expression. To say "speak today" indicates to please instruct. The ocean of wisdom is these Bodhisattvas, and we, upon hearing, can realize it. Because of the Bhagavan, we have heard and seen in this way, arising from the three times, that is, the Buddhas abiding in the past, future, and present, are the accomplished ones, and similarly, arising are those with aspirational Bodhicitta, who are those still learning. If they all practice the Vajra mantra, that is, Vajra recitation, then those with Vajra body, speech, and mind, the unparalleled of the great Vajradhara, that is, the incomparable wisdom, will attain or are attaining the wisdom of Dharmadhatu. Therefore, requesting to speak of such Vajra recitation, that is, the generation stage, practice, and Vajra recitation, etc. Starting from "Then," etc., "Then" refers to after the Tathagata's request. Vajra is called Vajradhara because it holds the recitation with complete limbs. By taming the mind through the sequence of entering, etc., it is the teacher. The Vajra without objectification like the sky, the Vajra of the sky is wisdom itself, that is, the winds such as life. From where do they arise?

That is the arising of the Vajra Wisdom of Space, the essence of clear light. Because it expands the mandala and performs actions such as pacification, it is the agent. Day and night, twenty-one thousand six hundred, connected with life and diligence, therefore it is the generator. The noble one is the assembly of Buddhas, and for the sake of generating them, the supreme one is the feminine letter, and for the sake of gathering that too, the chief one is the three letters, because it is their nature, therefore it is the chief of the noble and supreme. Such is the Vajra recitation spoken by the Bhagavan, which is the irreversible recitation, thus it was declared, it is the verses of the compiler. Here there are eleven Vajra recitations, among which, first, for the purpose of explaining the recitation of the nature of the Great Vajradhara. The meaning of reciting all mantras, thus and so on, is declared, all mantras are the nature of vowels and consonants, their meaning is the three letters, reciting that is through entering and so on. What is the recitation like? Vajra speech is the irreversible of the three Tathagatas, that is, the sign of becoming one is ༄། །Whatever characteristic it has, that is marked by the three irreversible Vajras. Whoever abides with three distinctions, what is Vajra, that is, the abode of body, speech, and mind, namely the crown of the head, the throat, and the heart. Their boundary is the letter ཨཱོ abiding in the eight-spoked wheel of the Dharma realm. The letter ཨ་ is placed on that, and after they are dissolved, this Vajra is the recitation of the Great Vajradhara, thus it is declared. After everything is dissolved into the letter ཨ་, one enters into non-conceptual wisdom, and should abide as a yogi free from entering and so on, it is the recitation of the Great Vajradhara. In the abodes of body, speech, and mind, etc., in order to accomplish the meaning of other beings, it is developed in the order of the letter Hūṃ etc., the abodes of body, speech, and mind are those very letters Hūṃ etc., focusing on them, the development is the development of the wheel of light. By this Vajra recitation, that is, by the recitation of the Great Vajradhara, the mind of the three Vajras is the Great Vajradhara, the yogi will become like that, thus benefiting.

The merits have been declared. In order to explain another form of the great bliss of Vajradhara, it is said, "The body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas," etc. The body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas, that is, the Tathagatas with appearances, are developed from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). To measure the supreme of offerings, only this is it, and others are not. Jnana-vajra, etc., are as before. Or similarly, contemplate the Buddhas, and develop three letters from the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). To measure the supreme of offerings is to accomplish the gathering of unsurpassed offerings, and to bestow Bodhi, that is, to attain the state of Buddhahood, as it is said. Or with three distinctions, in the sentences such as "With distinctions, etc., three," the three letters that arise from A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) are rays of light. The three distinctions are to be developed by the distinctions of goddesses, wrathful deities, and Bodhisattvas. How to develop? The sentences such as "In each of them," that is, by the distinction of lineage, ༄། །སོ། །Also, contemplate the self-nature of egolessness of their body, speech, and mind, with the wisdom mind, that is, with the mind without object, truly develop, that is, dance from the sky. What is said by the distinction of the three lineages is development, and also merging, that is, merging the three letters into it. Completion is that after the development is complete, the three letters are also gathered into the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), that is, merging. This is to say that this Vajra recitation, all the Buddhas, are the yogis of the completion stage. How is it? The sentences such as "Opening the eye of wisdom," that is, with non-discriminating wisdom, knowing the self-nature of all things. The sixth word in "All the Buddhas" is the agent case, meaning the great Vajradhara recitation. In the sentences such as "Body Vajra complete Bodhi," first contemplate yourself as Vairochana Buddha in an instant, merge the two letters into the letter Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om), holding them in the order of entering, etc., and also merging the three realms into your own body, then you can accomplish the Body Vajra complete Bodhi. The sentences such as "Distinguishing the real and unreal," that is, contemplating yourself and others as transcending existence and non-existence, this all the Buddhas, that is, the self-nature of Vairochana Buddha.
