Chapter Six: Explanation of Revealing Suchness Through Empowerment Chapter Six: Explanation of Revealing Suchness Through Empowerment ༄། ། Having empowered, Suchness should be revealed. Having empowered, it is the mandala with precedence. Then, for the sake of making the student with the supreme faculty realize that empowerment should be done in the mandala of the nature of mind, it is said, "Then," and so on. Because those who are manifestly attached to the external mandala are frightened, it is frightening. Because the sharp faculty is the very place of joy, it is good, that is, the nature of mind. Supreme is because it produces the fruit of frightening. "By what" means by the mandala. "The practice of wisdom and means" means the practice of wisdom and means. It is followed by that. The end is the tip of the bird's beak, and it is said that it is joined and related to it, that is, it is joined to the end. The outer mandala is the mandala of colored powders. "Just by destroying the deity" should be understood as destroying the colored powders without inviting the deity due to carelessness. Otherwise, it contradicts the previous and subsequent tantras. For that very reason, since it is possible to destroy the deity, grasping the deity of colored powders as grasping and holding is pure, that is, there is no self-nature of non-dual wisdom, but it exists in the mandala of the nature of mind. It is manifestly intended. It is said that destroying its signs is also sinful, just like destroying the deity. Vajra and so on are the signs of the lords of the families such as Akshobhya, and it should also be known that they are the seeds from the mind and the signs of other deities. "Having gone" means going. In the ultimate sense, it is also like "Buddha" and so on, that is, not by anything, nor by anything. Eye ༄། ། Inviting and so on are spoken according to the thoughts of inferior sentient beings. "Also in some" means not in any place in the ultimate sense. As it is said in the Noble Perfection of Wisdom: Son of the lineage, the Tathagatas have no coming or going from anywhere. Suchness is unwavering, and that is the Tathagata. "Immaculate" means immaculate.

These refer to the reason for being free from afflictions such as attachment. Because of being free from the obscuration of knowledge, they are the pure Dharmakaya. The so-called "others" refers to those who, for the sake of truly inviting and so on, in samsara, the mandala of colored dust, and various rituals and other elaborations, are liberated. One should not think that there are other Tathagatas besides the unobstructed Tathagatas. What is the basis for this? As it is said, "Here" and so on. If the lotus becomes a mandala, what is the wisdom mother like? As it is said, "Twelve years old" and so on. Showing the moon refers to accumulating Bodhicitta. The so-called "immovable" refers to being immovable, that is, not going to other men. For such wisdom mothers, for those poor disciples, it refers to those who will explain and possess merits. The so-called "itself" refers to the fourth. The so-called "five" refers to water, hair knot, vajra, master, and names. Mantra, Vajra conduct, behavioral conduct, prophecy, non-retrogression, and secrets, plus the conduct of the consort, there are seven in total. The two refer to wisdom and the fourth. The so-called "combined into one" means that these combined together become the fourteen empowerments. Among them, water and so on until the ultimate of non-retrogression should be said to be the empowerment of the master. Its very essence ༄། Adding the conduct of the consort refers to the outer. Secret refers to the secret empowerment. The secret itself refers to the wisdom empowerment. Its very essence refers to the fourth empowerment. Therefore, the conduct of the consort is the empowerment of the master, or it is the wisdom empowerment, because it is said by including its respective branches: "Master secret wisdom, the fourth is also like that." The so-called "should be offered" refers to disciples offering gold and so on to the Lama. The so-called "Lama" refers to the master. The so-called "not speaking" refers to focusing on meditation. All of this is just symbolic, not completely clear, this is what the compiler said, "Here" and so on. The key instruction here is: Here the master is surrounded by twenty-four goddesses.
