Explanation of Chapter One. Explanation of Chapter One. In the language of India: Mahāmāyātantrasya smṛtibṛttīti. In the Tibetan language: The commentary on the Great Illusory Tantra, called Remembrance. Homage to the Bhagavan, Lord of the World. Homage to the master Vajradhara. Having paid homage with all things, The great preliminary illusory tantra, I shall write for the sake of remembrance. Here, in order for those who hold the tantra to easily understand the listeners, first, the essence of the tantra's meaning is summarized for understanding, therefore it is said. What is said, starting with "Glorious," etc. The word "glory" is the unsurpassed accumulation of merit and wisdom, and whatever possesses that is called that. "Vajra Dakini" is the indivisible mind of Vajra, which is the Dakini, empty of signs and objects. The wheel of the Dakini, the Dakini is the ultimate of the cause, another name is Bodhisattva. The collection of those is the wheel, and whatever has the nature of transforming with it is called that. Or, the Dakini is the relief of the Tathagata with objects. Dakini ༄། །The wheel of those is the relief of the great Vajradhara without objects, the Bhagavan Vajra Dakini. The five wisdoms are the distinctions of the mirror-like and so on. The three bodies are the nature of mantra, form, and dharma, another name is Enjoyment, Emanation, and Dharma Body. Whoever has the five wisdoms and the three bodies is called that, and is connected with "Homage." "Beings" are the realm of sentient beings with the nature of ripening into a mass of suffering, from lineage and so on, to the end of old age and death. "Protector" is the one who completely protects. The first half of the verse shows the Bhagavan's own benefit is perfectly complete, and the second half shows the benefit of others is perfectly complete.

The methods of gathering were spoken, and through these methods, the Blessed One showed the state of perfect self and other benefit, which is called the Dharmakaya. As it is said, "How many," etc., it refers to the fact that even the number of extremely small dust particles in the world cannot be counted. The so-called "Vajra Dakini" refers to mothers born from fields, mothers born from mantras, and mothers who are co-emergent. The so-called "cutting the bonds of pervasive thoughts" refers to the world of sentient beings. Those who possess the characteristics of higher realms and definite goodness, who have cut the bonds of pervasive thoughts, are called "cutting the bonds of pervasive thoughts," meaning that there are no longer bonds of pervasive thoughts clinging to self and what belongs to self. The so-called "entering the world maker" refers to the world as the world of sentient beings. The so-called "they" refers to those who possess the characteristics of higher realms and definite goodness, and those who have the nature of entering into it are called "they." This means that in order to perfect the meaning of the world and beyond the world for sentient beings, like the turning of a wheel, in as many eons as there are.

English

So, "that" refers to these meanings. I wondered why I didn't say "Thus have I heard." The Blessed One is one who does not abide in Nirvana. Therefore, He spoke of "constant" and so on. So, it is not that in all aspects one is completely liberated from suffering. Why? Because that continuous great bliss nature, called Dharmakaya, all discriminations have ceased, and it has become the realm of meditative absorption for the noble ones, separated from all natures of things. Even if He exists, and sentient beings with fortune exist, He does not teach the Dharma. However, He teaches the Dharma in the Buddha-fields that are completely pure and not completely pure with two kinds of Rupakayas. If there are no beings to be tamed, it would be contradictory. After that, why are those who hear, comprehend, and teach without error not gathered? Here it is indeed true, because in the supreme order of the Great Vehicle, in countless cycles of existence, that continuous great bliss Dharmakaya, through the power of practice with past mantras and so on, effortlessly manifests as two kinds of external Rupakayas. For all sentient beings pervading the expanse of space, He perfects the benefits of higher realms and definite goodness as they wish. But it is not that in all aspects one is completely liberated from suffering. He said, "For the benefit of sentient beings, one should abide in the ultimate state of others." Therefore, in whatever way those who teach sentient beings, all of that is the power of the Buddha himself. As it is said in the scriptures, "Birds and trees, rays of light and the sky, the sound of Dharma is continuous, sentient beings will hear it." The so-called "Vajra Dakinis," Vajra is the mind of non-fear. Because it is like the sky, it is a Dakini. Those who possess these are called "that." The so-called "Secret Mistress," body, speech, and mind are secret. Simultaneously, He perfectly manifests bodies for sentient beings as it is appropriate.
