The Commentary on the Great Illusion Tantra called "Memory" By Black Vajra The Commentary on the Great Illusion Tantra called "Memory" By Black Vajra Explanation of the First Chapter ༄། །In Sanskrit: Mahāmāyātantrasya smṛtivṛtti iti (梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思). In Tibetan: The Commentary on the Great Illusion Tantra called "Memory". Homage to the Bhagavan, Lord of the World. Homage to the Vajra-holder Protector, the Teacher. Having paid homage with all things, I shall write for the sake of remembering the Great Preliminary Illusion Tantra. Here, in order for those who hold the tantra to easily understand the listeners, first, the body of the meaning of the tantra is briefly summarized in order to be understood, therefore it is spoken. When "Glorious" and so on are spoken, the word "glory" means the unsurpassed accumulation of merit and wisdom is increased. Whoever has that is called that. "Vajra Dakini" means the indivisible mind of Vajra. That itself, empty of characteristics and objects, is called Dakini. The meaning of "Turning the Wheel of the Dakini" is that the Dakini is the ultimate of the cause. Another name is Bodhisattva. The collection of those is the wheel. Whoever has the nature of turning that is called that. Or, Dakini means one who delights the Thus-Gone One with objects. Dakini ༄། །Turning the wheel by those is delighting the great Vajra-holder without objects. That is the Bhagavan Vajra Dakini. "Five Wisdoms" means the distinctions such as the mirror-like one. "Three Bodies" means the nature of mantra, form, and dharma. Another name is Enjoyment, Emanation, and Dharma Body. Whoever is the Five Wisdoms and Three Bodies is called that, and is connected with "Homage". "Beings" means the realm of sentient beings who have the nature of ripening into the aggregates of suffering, such as actions, up to old age and death. "Protecting" means acting to completely protect. Words.

In the first half of the chapters, the Bhagavan has shown the method of perfecting one's own benefit, and in the latter half, he has spoken of the means of perfecting the benefit of others. Through these, the Bhagavan has shown the place of perfecting the benefit of oneself and others, which is the Dharmakaya. The so-called "how many" and so on, refers to those numbers that cannot be counted even by exhausting the number of fine dust particles in the world. The so-called "Vajra Dakini" refers to those women born from fields, women born from mantras, and women with the nature of being born together. The so-called "cutting the bonds of pervasive thought" refers to the sentient world. Those who have the characteristics of higher birth and definite goodness, and who have cut the bonds of pervasive thought, are called such, that is, there is no longer the pervasive bond of clinging to self and what belongs to self. The so-called "entering into the creation of the world" refers to the world, which is the sentient world. The so-called "by that" refers to those who have the characteristics of higher birth and definite goodness, and who have the nature of entering into it, are called such. The meaning here is to perfect the benefit of sentient beings in samsara, as is known and as is all, both worldly and transcendental. Therefore, they enter into teaching the Dharma in various forms, which are the Dharma, enjoyment, and incarnation.

This rejoicing in the Nirvana that pacifies the sufferings of the world is a necessity to be expressed. The word "thenas" (དེ་ནས་,Tibetan) means auspiciousness. The word "dela" (དེ་ལ་,Tibetan) refers to these meanings. I wonder why I didn't mention the action of "I"? The Bhagavan is the one who does not abide in Nirvana. Therefore, the Bhagavan spoke of "constant" and so on, it is not a complete and thorough Nirvana. Why is that uninterrupted great bliss nature, called Dharmakaya, where all discriminations cease, and the noble ones become the object of meditative absorption, completely separated from the nature of things? Although it exists, and sentient beings with karmic connections also exist, it does not teach the Dharma, but teaches the Dharma in the pure and impure Buddha-fields with two form bodies. If there are no beings to be tamed, it would be contradictory. After that, those who hear and hold, possess realization, and teach without inversion, why are they not gathered together? Although this is true here, because in the supreme order of the Great Vehicle, in countless cycles of rebirth, that uninterrupted great bliss Dharmakaya, by the power of previous practice of mantras and so on, effortlessly manifests as two external form bodies. To the realms of sentient beings that reach the edge of space, fulfilling the meaning of higher realms and definite goodness as they wish. But it is not a complete and thorough Nirvana. The Bhagavan said, "For the benefit of sentient beings, one should abide in the ultimate of others." Therefore, in whatever way one teaches sentient beings, all of that is the power of the Buddha himself. As it is said: "Birds and trees, rays of light and the sky, the sound of the Dharma is uninterrupted, embodied beings will hear it." Vajra Dakinis and so on, Vajra is the mind of fearlessness. Like the sky, therefore it is a Dakini, whoever possesses this is called that. Secret Empowerment.
