The Sadhana of the Glorious Four Seats, Bhava Bhadra. The Sadhana of the Glorious Four Seats. Bhava Bhadra. ༄. In Indian language: Śrīcatuḥpīṭhasādhanopika. In Tibetan: The Sadhana of the Glorious Four Seats. Homage to the Great Compassionate Noble Avalokiteśvara. Possessing examples of real and unreal states. ༄. Therefore, I pay homage to those who work for the benefit of beings. In order to manifest the ten and three, which are not clear in the tantras, I will write them down concisely. Therefore, one who has received the empowerment of the master vase and secret, and who has certainty of knowledge, should enter in order to attain the supreme and common siddhis. In a pleasing place, rely on a clean place. Hang banners, spread out various clothes. Erect flags and victory banners. Adorn with a net of bells. In all ten directions, make a mandala of incense in the same way. With the incense of incomparable mind, smear it in a square shape. Apply sandalwood paste to the body. The mind remains in equanimity. The yogi, with flowers of patience, should diligently scatter them. With the incense of meditating on equality, purify with intrinsic purity. The light of the lamp of wisdom, the darkness of the three realms, having destroyed it with this lamp, manifest as desired. Having arranged the offerings, sit on a comfortable cushion. Om Vajra Prakara Hum Phet (ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་པྲཱ་ཀ་ར་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ།，Om Vajra Prakara Hum Phet，金刚 栅栏 吽 啪). With the left hand palm facing outwards, and the right hand clenched into a fist with the back touching, circumambulate the powerful retinue. This is the mantra and mudra of the fence. Stretch out both hands and touch each other greatly. Om Jum Svaha (ཨོཾ་ཛུཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，Om Jum Svaha，嗡 准 梭哈). This is the mantra and mudra of the net. Clench the left hand into a fist and extend the thumb downwards. Om Brum Svaha (ཨོཾ་བྲུཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།，Om Brum Svaha，嗡 准 梭哈). This is the mantra and mudra of the stake. Purification and benefits should be known from the tantras. In the center of the moon in one's own heart, from the rays of the seed syllable Hūṃ (ཧཱུཾ།，Hūṃ，हूँ，吽，seed syllable), visualize the lama Buddha, and recite this verse. I, named [so and so], pay homage to the lotus feet of the lama. I also bow to the dakinis. I take refuge in the Buddhas. From that light, the goddess holding incense and so on arises.

I pray that you do not pass into Nirvana but remain. From this time until I attain Buddhahood, I will practice the path in between. I will also give away my body. My name is so-and-so. From this time until the end of time, Until the essence of Bodhi. Just as the protectors of the three times, Truly realized enlightenment, Likewise, the supreme Bodhicitta, May I also generate the sacred. Buddha Yoga born vows, The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, The supreme Three Jewels, From today onwards, I take refuge with utmost sincerity. The discipline of the precepts, The collection of virtuous Dharmas, The three precepts for the benefit of sentient beings, I will firmly uphold each one separately. In the great and supreme Vajra family, The mudra of the Vajra bell also, Should be held and practiced as it is, I will also hold the teachers and others. With the supreme yogi of the Ratna family, In the vows that are pleasing to the mind, Six times each day, I will bestow the four kinds of generosity. From the great Bodhi that arises, In the supreme pure Lotus family, The three vehicles of outer and inner, The supreme Dharma should be upheld. In the supreme and noble Karma family, Making offerings to the best of one's ability, and, Being endowed with all vows, The supreme Bodhicitta, May that sacred one also arise, For the sake of all sentient beings, All vows should be upheld. May those who have not been liberated be liberated, May I liberate those who have not been liberated, May those who have not found peace find peace, May all beings be placed in Nirvana.
