Raising the Uma is incense. (Mantra) Om, Shung, Svaha! Clenching the fist and raising the thumb is the lamp. (Mantra) Om, Ghrum, Svaha! Stretching out both hands and rapidly moving the thumbs in the middle is offering the Torma. Then, with the lotus mudra as the lead, placing the palms together at the heart, (Mantra) Om, Nama, Te, Hum! Nama, Mi, Hum! Namo, Nama, Hum, Svaha! Om, Pancha Dakini, Pujopa Sthanaya, Atmanam, Niryatami! Om, Acharya Jopa Sthanaya, Atmanam, Niryatami! Om, Sakala Sattva Paritranaya, Atmanam, Niryatami! Samaya Tvam! Samaya Ho Ho Ho! Thus it is said. In the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, I constantly take refuge. In all three vehicles, Yoga, Secret Dakini, Heroes, Heroines,自在天女（Empowerment Goddesses）, Bodhisattvas, Great Beings, and especially the Guru, I constantly take refuge. Please consider me, all of you! Vairocana, Akshobhya, Ratnasambhava, Amitabha, and Amoghasiddhi, all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I, named so-and-so, from this time forth, until I attain great Bodhi, will generate the unsurpassed Bodhicitta. Just as the Buddhas of the three times have realized Bodhi, I will also act accordingly. Guarding the three vows, accumulating virtuous dharmas, and benefiting sentient beings with the three vows, I will firmly uphold each of them. In the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the supreme of the unsurpassed Three Jewels, the vows born from Buddha Yoga, I will take them for the first time today. The mudras of the Vajra bell and Vajra, each held as they truly are. In the supreme lineage of the Great Vajra, I will take the Guru himself. In the supreme lineage of the Ratnasambhava lineage, which is pleasing to the vows, I will perform the four kinds of giving six times each day. In the supreme lineage of the Great Lotus, born from the Great Bodhi, the three vehicles of outer, inner, and secret, I will each uphold the Dharma. For those who possess all vows, the actions of offering as much as possible, in the supreme lineage of the Great Karma, I will each uphold them as they truly are. After generating the unsurpassed Bodhicitta.
