One should become accustomed to meditation! Like this, all of these should be accomplished with ease! In what reasonable way, I have gathered with the oral instructions of the Guru, and made a flawless determination of the meaning of the abridged places, etc. From this arrangement of determining the places, etc., may the virtue gained, which increases like the beautiful moon, with that merit, may all lifetimes, those places, etc., be ultimately perfected into Buddhahood. The Determination of Places, etc., composed by the renowned Paṇḍita, Abbot Śākya Rakṣita, is completed here. This was translated by the Shalu translator, the monk Dharmapala, according to the instructions of the venerable Chennga Rinpoche, the crown jewel of beings, including gods, who guides all sentient beings, in the center surrounded by the eight classes of gods and the snowy mountains, on the flourishing cliffs of the mountains, in the temple of glorious Great Bliss.
