A Commentary on Vajrayogini Called "Following Yoga," by Darika. A Commentary on Vajrayogini Called "Following Yoga." By Darika. Following Yoga. In Sanskrit: Yoga Anusarini Nama Vajrayogini Tika. In Tibetan: Called "Following Yoga." A Commentary on Vajrayogini. Homage to Vajrayogini! By the nature of suchness, Whoever holds the supreme body, May the eternal Vajravarahi, Grant you abundance! Having bowed to Vajravarahi, To easily realize her practice, Yoga ༄། །Of the follower, I shall write this commentary. Here, like being in the midst of the summer sun of ignorance and so forth, those who are gathered by the proliferation of the six types of beings, wishing to be liberated from the great dry land of samsara, are separated from speaking the words of the supreme secret king. Those who have minds attached to the time of strife, and who rely on generosity and other accumulations of merit, and who trust in samadhi, are prone to falling. Those who cannot obtain the fruit of the tree of virtue, whose virtuous imprints are stolen by the enemies of the land, and who are afflicted by the great planet of perversion, because they do not know the path of nirvana, repeatedly revolve in that very state, desiring the happiness of existence, deceived by meat, and dwelling in many unreal attachments, and sometimes not even obtaining a little temporary happiness, those worldly beings who dwell in the three realms, who are only consumed by the heat of suffering, for them, by the power of the friend of loving-kindness and compassion, without taking anything in the happy realms, taking birth by conventional truth, holding the basis of immeasurable qualities, and closely showing the unsurpassed path of nirvana, holding the great vow of compassion to benefit others for immeasurable eons, the Bhagavan Vajradhara Glorious Wheel of Great Bliss, called the King of Herukas, wishing to show the means of taming beings who are fit vessels, the sharp-witted

I, with the path of yoga being exceedingly easy, follow in the manner of a yogini, the secrets of all yoginis who are adorned by left-handed practices, as spoken by the tantra that reveals the net of dakinis. With the easily attainable instruction of descent, the difficult to obtain accomplishment will be attained, thus all dharmas are without inherent existence, the very nature of suchness, the embodiment of Vajravarahi, the Blessed One has thus revealed the very nature of wisdom. The disposition of those to be tamed, the distinctions of activities. Although immeasurable forms are seen, here those forms are not to be primarily taught. However, the sadhana of the sole Vajrayogini with two faces and two arms is explicitly stated. That is the very nature taught in many tantras, with the method of individually obtaining all without exception, with the method of accomplishing the great seal, the great king Indrabhuti, with the nature of the path realized by himself, explicitly states the secret of the dakini, since it is the cause of the great accomplishment of meaning at the beginning. The method of taming beings, the sadhana of Vajrayogini, and the collection of her mantras, and the ritual of recitation, and the activities of mandala offerings, and the nature of practicing with leftovers should also be spoken. Therefore, first here, in order to pacify all the obstacles of the yogini yidam deities, gathering great meaning, the prostration is spoken. By the term "mara" and so on, vajra is both the nature of wisdom free from elaboration and also union. It is also the equal entering of skillful means and wisdom. Thus, as it is said in the later tantra of the glorious Guhyasamaja: "The equal entering of skillful means and wisdom, is explicitly called yoga. Whatever is unreal is wisdom, skillful means is the nature of things." Thus it is said. Because it exists in this, it is Vajrayogini. Or, because the yogi enters into samadhi with this, yoga is non-dual wisdom. Because it inherently exists in this, the yogini is Vajravarahi. Or, because that which is to be done as yoga is to be relied upon, yoga is the lotus. Because it exists in this, it is Yoga.
