Explanation of Chapter Four. Explanation of Chapter Four. Spoken to answer the third question, starting with "Then." "Whatever" refers to things that have the nature of stability and movement, and all of those are the nature of the four great elements, which is the remainder of the word "exists." They are also of two kinds, from the distinction of external and internal nature. Among them, for the common karma and nature of both of them, it is also said "earth" etc. Among them, "this" refers to those. "Earth" refers to earth. Or, earth itself, that is, some things that have characteristics such as thinness and hardness. This shows that the characteristic of earth is holding and the nature is thin. "Fire cooks everything," which shows that the nature of fire is warmth and the function is to ripen. "Water moistens," which shows that the nature of water is moisture and the function is to gather. "Wind moves together," which shows that the nature of wind is movement and the function is to move. "The realm of space" is first of all its nature is empty and the function is to open up space. It is said ༄༅། "He who abides in emptiness gives birth," meaning that abiding in emptiness, all things can arise, therefore, with the reason of giving space. Therefore, space is not a great element. However, in order to maintain its own characteristics, only the realm itself and the four, such as earth, are the great elements, and the words that are briefly shown are shown in detail, without contradiction. If the characteristics of these are established by themselves or not? It is said, "Where" etc., which shows the nature of interdependence and mere examination. In order to determine the meaning of what is said, starting from "root" etc., the root etc. are only the four great elements of the container world. "Form is only consciousness," the meaning of this sentence is only two kinds, that is, from the distinction of form and non-form. Therefore, "only" is to eliminate the remaining meaning. Or, the meaning of the word is only the nature of being very clear,

The last is also consciousness itself. The so-called six realms are related to the four great elements. So, how are sentient beings and the container world distinguished? It is said in the scriptures: "Consciousness and co-arising." Whatever arises together with consciousness should be established as sentient beings. As it is said, therefore, and so on. Therefore, it is formed by the combination of the four great elements. All, that is, to all sentient beings, will become the components of the body, and the reality of existence should be understood with wisdom. The life of all beings is composed of the four elements, so what are the changes such as the death of sentient beings? It is said in the scriptures: "In death, etc.," and so on. The mover means the meaning of moving. Limbs, that is, all limbs. That is, at all times, it goes to all bodies and all limbs. When the wind moves, there will be a loss of sensation. Gathering the near causes, that is, birth, etc. All arising means that all arising arises everywhere. Arising everywhere, it is said in the scriptures: "Gods, etc." Not without arising means that if the arising is suppressed, then nothing will arise, this is the remaining part. To illustrate this, it is said in the scriptures: "Gods, etc." World protectors, etc., that is, the bodies of all the gods are also with the protectors. They say this, that is, they will all die. Or, only they will be born and die, but the Vajra of the Bhagavan's mind is not. If it is said that these are not different from the mind, and that they are similar at all times, then what are the similarities and dissimilarities of the arising, and the characteristics of decay and arising, that is, death and arising? It is said in the scriptures: "All, etc." The meaning of this is, constant, that is, because the nature of beginningless samsara has not been fully understood, it is different from the mind, and the edge of the intelligence of the nature of permanence and impermanence, etc.
