Chapter Twenty-Five Chapter Twenty-Five ༄། །Not abiding in Nirvana, the Victorious Ones travel everywhere, I prostrate to the ultimate non-duality. Abiding is the supreme conventional truth, I prostrate to the pure essence itself. It is the great form of clear light, and through individual forms, it extensively explains all things. Now, the explanation of Chapter Twenty-Five is spoken. Then, it says, "Explanation," and so on. "Abiding" is of two types: worldly and beyond worldly. That should be explained. "Liberator from the cycle of existence" means that samsara is existence, it is the existence of samsara. If asked why two are needed, it is because the yogi is truly free in the cycle of existence for sentient beings, just as a merchant goes to the ocean by means of a boat to reach the other shore. Similarly, the yogi, in the ocean of existence, with the impermanent ༄། །boat, through the Dharma of abiding, liberates to the other shore of Nirvana. Therefore, it is called "Liberator from the cycle of existence." Thus, the king of Yoga Tantras, the glorious Ocean of Dakinis, speaks of the abiding that should be done. At that time, all necessities, in short, are ten types, and in detail, there are many types. The ten are: a razor of golden nature, a probe, a cushion, purifiers, a golden-handled whisk, a limb vessel, a vase, and a drum, these ten. Also, the necessities for bathing, and similarly, whatever is needed for the activities of the mandala, all of that should be taken. The well-trained Acharya should always benefit others. This is what is needed. How it is elsewhere means that in various tantras such as the Truth Assembly, the necessities for abiding and so on are spoken of. All of those are explained as they are. What is called "nature" means that whatever things are, once analyzed, all are unreal. If so, the sound of abiding, along with the aspect,

This is a great cause for the accumulation of merit by worldly beings. If so, how can it be untrue? If so, wouldn't everything become meaningless? The answer is: This is true, but the nature of all dharmas is emptiness. If so, how does it arise and dissolve? The realms of the world and so on are merely the conditions that appear separately. The world and the transcendent world are also the same. Therefore, all of these are the nature of illusion. It is also said: Condition arises from samsara and nirvana. The world and the transcendent world are the same. The form of selflessness, things and wisdom are not true. Manifestation is also untrue, and is also established by the individual. Therefore, understanding the form of selflessness is a variety of illusions. Its meaning is here, the individual illusion of selflessness, is the word spoken by the Bhagavan. The so-called "abiding in illusion" and so on, the yogis regard their own mind, body, the illusion of things, and the selflessness of the individual, as abiding in the image of illusion. Here, if the things of the body, the image of the individual, each is the nature of selflessness, then how does the mind change separately? If everything is integrated, wouldn't the mind become the nature of emptiness? At that time, it does not match. That is not the case, why not? The beings who depend on the body, each of their minds is the nature of various things, at that time the mind of the individual is the selflessness of the nature of the body. Thus, the selflessness of the individual, and the respective deities that are cultivated are also the same. Therefore, the paintings or thangkas, or the holy Dharma, etc., should be settled in their image, and one's own image arises from one's own yoga, projecting outward to the object of the painting, etc. When that time comes, the so-called "appearing at that time" refers to the various periods arising from one's own nature, with the various tantric intentions of the deities, the so-called "becoming its body" and so on, it is easy to understand. Now the definitive words of abiding are spoken, the so-called "abiding" and so on, here the tantra of gathering and so on...

The place where one abides is briefly indicated. Thus it is said, "Mine," etc., up to "abides," is the initial speech. There, by the characteristics of dharma and dharmata, the form of the Bhagavan is truly established, merged into all dharmas, becoming the nature of great bliss, the awareness. Also, the awareness of teaching various excellent dharmas, in the tantras of yogis and yoginis, there are deeds done by this, therefore all the excellent dharmas etc. abide in this. In what places is it well established at all times? Thus, here also, awareness should be expressed. That is, it is said, "The letter E," etc., here I also briefly explain, in the letter "E," it is the source of dharma, Prajñāpāramitā, the mudra of dharmadhatu, and the navel of the Avadhuti lotus. The so-called "after obtaining the form," the yogi has previously practiced in yoga, after it appears, for the sake of benefiting sentient beings, everything should be clearly visualized. Thus, here, who is said to be well established? The so-called "the letter Bam Vajrasattva," that is, one word expresses many meanings, that is, Vajrasattva. The meaning of well-established by the rituals etc. of those with various natures of abiding is the nature of Vajrasattva. Thus, the letter "Bam" is of the vajra, that is, the essence of the vajra, that is, the clear light of one's own awareness bodhicitta. The letter Ma is the great mudra non-duality. Thus, whatever is remembered, such as the four vehicles, is well established, in the matters spoken of, it is the nature of the great mudra. The word "etc." includes the houses of heretics, temples, wells, and pools, etc. In short, it should be known as whatever is in the three realms. By the awareness of the name, "its," that is, it is explained as it is. The so-called "hearing the meaning of the one mantra," that is, whatever is the realm of name and sound, indestructible, etc., hearing the sound is the nature of wisdom, that is, all of that is the form of mantra. However, the so-called expressive letter with mantra, that is, the letters that arise from the expression of names
