Explanation of Chapter Four Explanation of Chapter Four ༄། །Now, in order to supplement the previously explained rituals of action and to explain the actions not previously explained, Chapter Four is taught. The phrase "then" and so on refers to what follows the explanation of the collection of actions. The phrase "to the Blessed One" means that the meaning of the fourth is the seventh. The phrase "again" is because the rituals of action have already been taught, and are now clarified again. The phrase "thus it is said" means that what follows is "thus." The phrase "offering" means after offering with outer and inner offerings. The phrase "collection of all actions" refers to the collection of actions such as raining and summoning hailstones. The phrase "then" refers to what follows the prayer. The phrase "King of Vidyas" refers to Vajrasattva, because he shows and clarifies the vidyas of raining and so on. The phrase "Ghili Ghili" and so on is a common language that is to be represented, and it will be well represented below in Sanskrit. Among them, "ba ja da'i ni ba ri sa ba ri sa ya hum bhu svaha" is the first. The phrase "Ghili Ghili" and so on is the second, and the three "tha" refer to "ngan yi phat." The two "sa sa ha ha" are the two "svaha" of the two mantras. The phrase "Om ni" and so on indicates the recitation of "Om." "Ti la ya" refers to bindu. Therefore, it becomes "Om Ghili Ghili varshaya varshaya hum hum hum ho ho ho phat phat phat svaha," which is the mantra of the eight clouds. Therefore, it is said, "It abides in the eight water-holding clouds." It means that it constantly enters and abides in the eight clouds. "Om Vajra Dakini varsha varsha paya hum bhu svaha" is the mantra related to the Vajra Dakini's raining. Therefore, it is said, "the vidya-mantra of the Dakini," and so on, referring to "the nature of great illusion." It refers to the nature mantra of all Dakinis. Moreover, it is accomplished by reciting one hundred thousand times in common language, and it is accomplished by reciting one hundred thousand ༄། །twice in Sanskrit. "Om" should be viewed in relation to the sun. Now, the summoning of hailstones is explained.

The so-called "Ma," etc., refers to "Mahakala Anucara Ya" (Tibetan: མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ཨ་ནུ་ཙ་ར་ཡ་, Devanagari: महाकाल अनुचरय, Romanized Sanskrit: mahākāla anucaraya, meaning: Great Black One's Attendant), who is a great deity, because he travels together with the Great Black One. The section from "Nam" to "Tadyatha" is a connecting passage, not a mantra. The so-called "Om Tsal," etc., is a mantra for summoning. The so-called "reciting ten thousand times" refers to the union with Vajra Dakini. The so-called "midnight" is an approaching sign, meaning in three periods of time. The so-called "summoning the body," the body refers to the physical body, abiding in the mandala of wind, and suddenly appearing from space, which is summoning the body. Thus, the Vajra Dakini yogi first performs ten thousand recitations, creates an image of the great deity, and in front of it, the practitioner abides as the red form of Vajra Dakini, performing the practice. The red form abides in the mandala of wind, visualizing that the light of the mantra emanates from one's heart, surrounding it, and recites "Om Tsala Pratsala Lala Lala Lala Ya Deva Lingam Devadatta Anaya Svaha" (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཙལ་པྲ་ཙ་ལ་ལ་ལ་ལ་ལ་ཡ་དེ་བ་ལིངྒཾ་ལྷ་སྦྱིན་ཨཱ་ན་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Devanagari: ॐ चल प्रचला ल ल ल ल य देव लिङ्गं देवदत्त आनय स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ cala pracala la la la la ya deva liṅgaṃ devadatta ānaya svāhā, meaning: Om, move, intensely move, la, la, la, la, ya, god, lingam, god-given, bring, svaha). If recited for seven days, thirteen days, or twenty-one days, in three periods of time, it will come, so it is said. Alternatively, recite at midnight until it comes. The so-called "Om Tsamundi," etc., is the mantra of the goddess Tsamundi. The so-called "stepping and contemplating" is related to the previous lingam. The so-called "hooking" means coming with the feet. The so-called "becoming controlled" means developing attachment to me, and being controlled together with wealth. Here, the Vajra Dakini yogi uses the sole of the left foot, drawing Mount Sumeru with the fingernail, writing four syllables "Hrih" (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, meaning: "shame") in the four corners, and in the center, connecting the words of the mantra with the name of the one to be summoned. After writing, the practitioner steps on the image of the great deity with that foot, and recites the words of the mantra in three periods of time, connecting it with "Grant the deity, become my control," and reciting it will hook the person. Now, the actual application is explained. The so-called "of a man," etc., the so-called "upper part" refers to the upper part. ༄། །The lower part should be made into the shape of a phurba, in order to make its tip sharp. The so-called "after doing" means digging. The so-called "great consumption disease" means being afflicted by disease. The so-called "arising" means to be born, the so-called "abiding" means to abide for a long time.
