Having arisen from the letter HŪṂ, one transforms into the form of the great seal, perfectly united with one's own deity to be explained. Recite Āli and Kāli three times, and place the three letters called Heruka in the crown of the head, throat, and heart respectively. One should regard one's own nature as "all dharmas are devoid of cause," "all dharmas are devoid of conception," and "all dharmas do not abide anywhere." Likewise, one should make the external stable and moving objects invisible. Then, by the power of previous aspirations, focus closely on the three letters OṂ, ĀḤ, and HŪṂ in the sky, in an upward and downward sequence. From HŪṂ completely transformed into a vajra. From the center of that vajra, the rays of light emanating from the HŪṂ residing there pervade all of the sky up to the ultimate limit of the surroundings. The rays, in the form of hooks, enter again into those three letters in order to engage in accomplishing the benefit of all sentient beings. OṂ also enters into ĀḤ. ĀḤ also enters into the vajra, gradually from the tip of the vajra and so on, into the center of the vajra. The center of the vajra also enters into the letter HŪṂ. Ā enters into Ha. Ha enters into the head. The head also enters into the form of a half-moon. That also enters into a bindu. The bindu also enters into sound. Sound also enters into mere sound. And the object of mere sound is also abandoned. In order to purify the vessel-world, from Ya Ra Va La arise wind, fire, water, and a golden mandala, and so on. Above that, from the letter Ka arises a tortoise or a plow. Above that, from the letter A arises various vajras. Above that, from Paṃ arises an eight-petaled lotus. Above that, from Suṃ arises a four-cornered Mount Meru, having the nature of four kinds of precious jewels. Above that, again on the view of the lotus, contemplate the mandalas of the moon and sun, completely transformed from Āli and Kāli. From the mere sound abiding in the sky, gradually contemplate the letter HŪṂ as the mandala of the moon. From that completely transformed, the Bhagavan Vajravarahi, perfectly united with the deity, having twelve hands, the first two hands holding a vajra and a bell, perfectly embracing the deity, the two hands holding an elephant

Wearing the skin of a bleeding human as a garment on the back. In the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth of the right hands, holding a trident, battle-ax, curved knife, and hand drum. In the left hands, holding a khatvanga, skull, rope, and the head of Brahma. Possessing six mudras. Adorned with a crown of hair. Marked on the crown with various vajras. Having the distinction of a half-moon on the left side. Supremely beautiful with five skulls. Possessing a vajra chain. Three eyes. The first face and body color are all like rain clouds. The left face is green. The back is red. The right face is yellow. Holding a garland of skulls transformed entirely from Āli and Kāli, as an offering. Wearing a tiger skin loincloth that has just been peeled off. Pressing down on the lord of beings with the right leg extended. Seated on the center of a lotus. Surrounded by four goddesses residing on the petals, residing in the center of the three wheels. Vajravarahi is without dust, possessing five mudras, adorned with bone belts and so on, naked with disheveled hair. The right hand holding the vajra extended upwards, embracing from the neck. Holding intestines filled with human blood. The second face, the left hand holding a kapala. Seated with the left leg extended. Other distinctions should be known from other extensive sources. That which is called 'Definitely Arising' is, arising from the nature of sound, in accordance with the basis, indicated by the fifth word, arising from the combination of two powers, that is the meaning. Therefore, from the sound abiding in the direction of space, for what reason does it definitely arise? The reason why so many words are spoken is because it is to be known that from one sound arise all the heroes and dakinis possessing the three wheels. How is it? It is said: It is the field of action for the practice of vows. Vows are of two kinds: those to be protected and those to be consumed. The practice of these is to engage in them universally. That itself is the field of action, that which has become the place, that is what it is called. Or the vows are the goddesses, it is their practice, that place is the field of action, it is the heroes. For what reason is it that?
