The Commentary on Difficult Points Called "A Collection of Jewels" Written by Gyalkha Mitok Dawa The Commentary on Difficult Points Called "A Collection of Jewels" Written by Gyalkha Mitok Dawa Chapter One: Explaining the Entrance into the Mandala of Glorious Chakrasamvara In Sanskrit: Ratna tsada nāma pañcīkā. In Tibetan: The Commentary on Difficult Points Called "A Collection of Jewels." Homage to the Glorious Vajra Dakini! Whose body is anointed with the pollen of various lotuses, Who dwells in the center of the sun, possessing sacred splendor, Whose feet trample the head with matted hair and the two breasts of Uma, And who abides in the posture of a hero, Whose hands hold the vajra and bell, right and left, Who has the dance posture of holding the skin of a great elephant hero, By the supreme bliss of the sprout arising from the cause of compassion, May she protect the yogis who abide in yoga! From the rock vein of the hidden words and meanings, the name "Jewel," Carved by the sharp wisdom of Gyalkha Dawa, Which destroys the great darkness of ignorance of words, This commentary on difficult points called "A Collection of Jewels" has arisen! Among these, the conduct of the arising dakinis, And likewise, the tantra of the supreme name of the guru, The combined tantra and these four, Should be known as the tantras of explanation. These and other tantras, Of what is called "A Collection of Jewels," Are gathered in this commentary on difficult points, Wise ones should not think it is self-assertion. Then, the secret should be explained, It is concise, not extensive. As it is said, below the forty-third chapter, which shows the characteristics of the body and painted images, this tantra shows the characteristics of all the deities one believes in, which is shown by "then." From that chapter also, because of the secret, it is "then secret." Concise means not elaborated, few, and unclear, meaning it is difficult for those who have not pleased the guru to understand. It is secret to the Buddhas, what need is there to say to others, and so on. Here, for those who do not have the union with the deity they believe in, and who do not abide by their vows, it will not transform into great accomplishment, therefore, for the sake of the meaning of the union of vows and the deity they believe in, the secret of the preliminary of the mandala should be explained. Secret!

Moreover, the Bhagavan thought that if explained extensively, the world would find it difficult to understand. To avoid this, he said that it would not be explained in detail. So, what is this secret like? It is said: Heruka, the glorious, truly united. What is said, etc., is that the body, glorious Heruka, which perfects the two accumulations, is empty of causes and conditions, and is particularly liberated from all appearances, is explained. The true union of Heruka is where the forms of hands and faces, etc., are perfected, and that is the true union, just like the union of jewels, which fully reveals the wheel of the Mother Tantra. Why did the Bhagavan say this? It is said: Accomplishing all desired meanings. This means that for forms and sounds, etc., it accomplishes all the benefits of sentient beings, so it accomplishes all desired meanings. The Lama refers to the sixteen realms. The Lama above that is the Lama of Lamas, the twenty-four wheels of Nada. Those Nadas are Dakinis, twenty-four Dakas and Dakinis, that is, heroes and heroines. Their net is the collection of Dakinis. Its summary is the Samaya, that is, the Dakini, the summary of the Dakini net. This is also because it is stated in the introduction, "Thus I have heard," so it abides in such a secret. Would it not be harmed by demons in this way? Who said it? What are the listener and the words? What is said? Because there are many such doubts, just like ordinary people, thinking that this Dharma will become an inverted limb. For those people, in order to follow the opening words that possess all accomplished views, it is said in this way. Self-born is what the teacher, the Bhagavan Vajradhara, the Great Lord, said. In the joy of the supreme secret. This is to say that for it, what abides in the beginning, middle, and end is, as it will be explained, first the secret word, similarly supreme is the middle, joy is the end, there I heard it. All self-nature is when there is no other time, the Bhagavan abides. Therefore, these five words are "Thus I have heard, at one time," the Bhagavan abides, what is expressed by the five words is the secret.
