The earth is said to be formless because those distinctions by kind are diminished and gathered together, meaning it is non-dual and separate from all. Alternatively, in conventional or nominal terms, it possesses those forms, but in ultimate terms, it is said to be formless. If one wonders how to know that way, (the text says:) "Sixteen halves with bindu." This means that the vajra and lotus are equal. There are two: conventional all and ultimate truth, which are called that way when abiding on the ground. Thus, if one wonders what the co-emergent bliss of the equality of the two is like after transcending the two, (the text says:) "Without limbs, beyond calculation." Here, it is the characteristic of co-emergence, limb means elaboration, that is, without it. Beyond calculation means beyond the numbers such as sixteen halves. Regarding "having the peak of the four dhyanas," joy, happiness, thought, and investigation are the four dhyanas. The number corresponding to this is the four dhyanas, that is, the four joys. Peak means having a beautiful crown, which is the part of selflessness, abiding in the part between the two, investigation is the co-emergent of the four dhyanas. Its first is the moment of empowerment. The second is because it is the peak itself of the three peaks. Regarding "knowing all the limbs of dhyana," the four mudras, four moments, and four joys are the limbs or methods of dhyana, and one should definitely know through them, that is its meaning. Now, in order to show how to accomplish the Sambhogakaya through the door of special means, therefore, (the text says:) "Samadhi wisdom and continuum wisdom," and so on. The cause of the Sambhogakaya is samadhi, and that itself is called wisdom, meaning the body arising from samadhi. Continuum means continuity, and that itself, having the nature of conventional and ultimate, is bodhicitta. In order to clearly show that itself, (the text says:) "Samadhi embodied is the best of bodies." The samadhi body is that arising from it. Because it is the most excellent among those with bodies, it is the best of bodies, like a reflection in water. If one asks whose body that is, it is the Sambhogakaya.

或者,是安住于金刚宝 Chal(梵文,Vajraratna-cala,金刚宝动)之乐受者,意为具足一切殊胜之相。

is the king of all beings. It is said that this body can also be regarded as a great bindu. To show its difference, it is said "king of all beings." This is to manifest such a body for the benefit of others. Or, it is the enjoyer of bliss residing in Vajraratna-cala, meaning possessing all excellent aspects. Now, in order to show the differences of the Nirmanakaya, it is said "Nirmanakaya" and so on. This is not uniquely determined, but appears in various places according to the capacity of the beings to be tamed, as other teachers believe. Here, it is the supreme body, that is, appearing as an angry body with attachment, and showing the body, hence called those. The so-called "holding the lineage of the Buddha's incarnation," the lineage is Vajradhara, and its lineage appears as such. Or, the lineage is the continuity, meaning continuously taking care of the beings to be tamed. The so-called "spreading various incarnations in the ten directions," just as a fire spreads in a forest, some places are burning, some places have burned out, some places are just starting to burn, some places are ༄། smoking, and some places have been extinguished. Similarly, in some places entering the mother's womb, in some places being born, in some places playing, in some places getting married, in some places renouncing, in some places practicing asceticism, in some places begging for alms, in some places subduing the demons, in some places attaining enlightenment, in some places turning the wheel of Dharma, and in some places showing Nirvana, therefore it is said so. After such manifestation, what does he do? The so-called "truly accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings," that is, conforming to the form, color, and behavior of the beings to be tamed in whatever way. For example, in the past, there was a householder named Kusuli, whose body size was like a sword. He had a house, only five fingers wide. He invited the Blessed One to come with his fourfold retinue for a meal. At that time, the Blessed One smiled. Ananda then asked the Blessed One the cause and condition of the smile. The Blessed One said, this householder only has a house five fingers wide, but invites me
