Sixth, Explaining the Vajra of Bodhicitta. Sixth, Explaining the Vajra of Bodhicitta. ༄། Now, in order to explain the ultimate Bodhicitta, it is said, "Thus, the Buddha, the Bhagavan," and so on. "Thus" means collecting the mantra in this way. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, is not different from the mantra and the deity, so the six mantra kings are the six Buddhas, the Bhagavans. The complete Buddhas are the six deities generated by that mantra, such as Vajra Sharp. Alternatively, the Buddha is the essence of the ultimate Bodhicitta A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: A), and it arises from it. Then it is said, "A is the most excellent of all letters." Because it is unchanging and inexhaustible, A is a letter. "All letters" means that it is both a letter and all, so all letters are vowels and consonants. "Excellent" means that whatever letter is spoken, it alone is the most important. It is both meaning and great, so it is said, "Great meaning, sacred letter." Because it accomplishes the benefit of oneself and others, it is of great meaning. "Letter" means unchanging, it is the essence of the letter A, and because it is not deceptive, it is sacred. "Great life" means that whatever letter is spoken, it arises from within it, therefore, it is unborn. Because it arises without depending on cause and condition, it is self-arisen. ༄། Therefore, it is said, "Abandoning expression," which means it should be experienced. Now, in order to explain the conventional Bodhicitta, it is said, "The most excellent cause of all speech," and so on. The cause of all that can be spoken is the letters, limbs, and life of the body. Here, the consonants are mainly grasped, so it is said, "All words are completely manifested." "All words" means whatever is spoken. Manifestation is becoming words, not A and so on, but manifesting "Namaḥ Akṣobhya" (Tibetan: ན་མཿ་ཨཀྵོ་བྷྱ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमः अक्षोभ्य, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: namaḥ akṣobhya, Chinese literal meaning: Homage to Akshobhya Buddha) and so on, which are the manifested consonants. Alternatively, "All speech is the most excellent cause" means to make the six mantra kings have the meaning of peace and so on. The rest is as before. Then, in order to explain the order of generating the means of removing the defilements and afflictions of Bodhicitta.

Therefore, it is said, "Great Offering" and so on. Like this, offering is to please. Like this, destroying small afflictions with great (power), transforming the place, the joy of such transformation is the offering, which should be universally understood. Great desire refers to attachment to form, etc., which leads to desire. Subduing small desires with desire itself, through the means of immeasurable light. This is different from detachment. Therefore, it is said, "Eliminating all attachments." Wherever there is attachment, one is also happy, even through songs and dances, etc. Anger refers to the anger arising from afflictions. Great refers to destroying arrogance, etc., with external power and strength, reducing anger internally, and those who enter the path of suffering other than tantra. Because the Bhagavan Akshobhya Buddha transforms the place with a black body color, it is said, "The great enemy of all afflictions." ༄ Ignorance refers to not understanding cause and effect, and the view of annihilation is the time of cause. At the time of the result, like the clouds in the sky dissipating, obstructing body and wisdom, this is the mind of ignorance. Vairochana Buddha transforms the body color into white, destroying with the light of body and wisdom, so it is great ignorance. Great wrath refers to being jealous of others' perfections, and being jealous of those who enter other vehicles and enter other paths, which is great wrath, a great enemy entering the path of transience. Its transformation place is Amoghasiddhi or Hayagriva, with a green body color. Great attachment refers to being attached to one's own perfections, being stingy to others, etc., or being attached to one's own small happiness and generating pride. After transforming the place, Vajra Surya transforms the body color into yellow to destroy, thus eliminating all attachments. Thus, the arising of the main deity has been explained, and now the arising of the retinue will be explained, saying "Great Desire" and so on. Great desire refers to generating desire, such as the eyes, etc. Ignorance Vajra, Hatred Vajra, Stinginess Vajra, and Desire
