Commentary on the Six Limbs of Yoga. Composed by Nima'i Pal Yeshe (Sun Glorious Wisdom). Commentary on the Six Limbs of Yoga. Composed by Nima'i Pal Yeshe (Sun Glorious Wisdom). In Sanskrit: Ṣaḍaṅga Yoga Ṭīkā. In Tibetan: Commentary on the Six Limbs of Yoga. Homage to the glorious Kalachakra. To the lord of time cycles, And the lama with great qualities, Having prostrated, I compose the commentary, Which perfects the qualities of the sixfold yoga. Here, the teacher, Peerless Life, possessing a mind trained in the inner and outer sequences, meditates on the thusness of the object of focus, and although he stayed for twelve years in the presence of glorious Kharsapani, he did not obtain a special realization, so he became discouraged and fell asleep, and Vajrayogini spoke, saying: Son, go to Vikramapura. There you will have a special realization. Having placed her command on his head, he went to Vikramapura with his disciple, the son of the official Tshodpon, the great pandita Pal Dzin. There, at a good time, while engaging in virtuous practice, at midnight, Vajradhara himself, in the form of an Avadhuti, directly gave instructions. As soon as he received those instructions, he entered into samadhi. Then, the Bhagavan became invisible there. At dawn, he also arose from samadhi and gave instructions to Pal Dzin, the great being who was a friend of that lama. He, also, with compassion and fortune, gave it to the great pandita Odje Lha (Light-Making God). He also explained it to the lama of the great pandita, the omniscient Chokyi Jungne Zhiwa (Dharmakara Shanti) of the degenerate age. He also, with the lama who is the source of inexpressible qualities, striving to please, Nima Pal Dak (Sun Glorious Self) obtained thusness. This is the lineage of the lamas. Thus, at the request of the disciple, the teacher, Peerless Life, desiring to perform the sixfold yoga, the cause for obtaining the ground of Vajradhara, expresses the six limbs through the door of praising his own yidam, obscurations and so forth. Obscured by thusness, obscuration itself is merely a mass of clouds, and by being separated from it, realizing all numbers without exception, and with the breath ceasing, manifesting in the ultimate space, Avalokiteshvara is the Buddha, filling that very thing.

It is the moon, beautiful because it makes beings happy. It is free from the imputation of grasping and holding in the true sense, which explains the branches of individual thought and meditation. The numberless conceptualizations are characterized by eighty-four thousand moments of mind with attachment, and the various forms seen in all ways in the space between the arising and the cessation of the inhaled breath, which explains life force, holding, and recollection, from the wheel of great bliss arising from touching the arising fierce fire. The lord of the world held by the crown of all Buddhas and the tip of the vajra. As beautiful as the moon filled with sixteen joys. This explains the limb of samadhi. Now the actions of the six limbs are explained in a contradictory and serious way. Such as existence and peace. Existence is the continuum of birth and death, which is the conventional truth, and peace is the ultimate truth. Although it is free from the object of the two, it is not different from the two and is united. Because it pervades the three realms, it is pervasive. Empty, extremely empty, great emptiness, empty because everything is empty. Like the image in a mirror, it is complete with all aspects. It is the ultimate state of non-conceptual wisdom, its twelve powers. Non-abiding is because it is not attached to objects. Unwavering is because it does not diminish. Non-conceptual because it is free from duality. The wise are the realization of non-conceptual wisdom It shows that the happiness of the five objects of desire is not diminished. Non-mind is the mind in which conceptualization ceases. It arises from that, so it is the protector to be relied upon by beings, wishing to bless the minds of beings. Explaining the qualities of existence in advance, it explains prostrating to the lama, that is, having distinctions, etc. If one clings to existence even slightly, one will fall into the extreme of permanence, and if one abandons it without examination, it is the extreme of annihilation, which is the cause of experiencing suffering in hell for many kalpas. Thus, from where the holy path has been obscured, the glorious lama, who can combine the emptiness of the nature of the non-mind mind that transcends the mind, with all aspects such as suffering. The image of the sky is a disciple of various forms.
