The Bhagavan, residing at the edge of the eastern gate of the Kalachakra mandala, seated on a precious lion throne, seeing that many sentient beings in the future would be fully ripened, granted me (permission) for the purpose of extensively explaining the concise tantra. Therefore, I will write an extensive explanation with his compassion. The phrase "Bhagavan's compassion for all beings" explains the special cause of the extensive explanation. If the Bhagavan is the master of the ten bhumis, and because of his shallow wisdom, is it because he does not understand the intention of the Bhagavan, the master of the twelve bhumis, and only relies on his compassion to begin the extensive explanation, then even if he extensively explains it, how can he accomplish the benefit of sentient beings? It is like some people with extremely low wisdom who do not understand the teachings of the holy physician, and after hearing that "milk is the most excellent drink for fever," because of love, they strive to treat their own child who is tormented by fever with milk, just as milk is like nectar for old fever and pulse depletion, but like poison for new fever. Therefore, merely relying on compassion is not sufficient for perfect benefit and happiness, it is said. In "motivated by his wisdom," "his wisdom" is characterized by depth and breadth, and is motivated by it. Because it truly shows the benefit of all beings, it is joyful wisdom. If I, like the perfectly enlightened Buddha, were to be separated from emptiness and compassion, and were happy to not extensively explain, then how could I illuminate all sentient beings in the future? The thirteenth chapter of the commentary on entering the Vimalaprabha Tantra, the manifestation of the Immovable Essence, the determination to pacify the near afflictions with the sixteen great fears, is the sixth chapter. Sixth chapter, the determination to pacify the near afflictions with the sixteen great fears.
