Fourth, the chapter on Sadhana. Fourth, the chapter on Sadhana. I, who generate the Buddhas, the seven empowerments, the vase empowerment, and the secret empowerments. The wisdom and knowledge empowerment, which destroys the fear of existence, the fourth stage to be traversed by yogis is attained. Again, I shall ask for the correct sadhana of the various chief deities together with the supreme Buddhas. After hearing the words of Zla-ba bzang-po, the lord of the Buddhas spoke of the sadhana of the Vajra-holder. 1. The body of the moon and the pair of feet, the throat of fire, the water-treasure glorious face of various colors. Six shoulders and the arms of the sun, the lotus of the Buddhas' hands, six empty spaces and the joints of fire. With the feet treading on the moon and sun, in the center of the burning wheel, the demons and fierce ones are terrified. Suppressing with play, without existence, existence is equal, the wheel of time alone is to be practiced. 2. In a pleasure grove or a mountain, and the sacred place of the supreme Buddhas, the abode of the gods is empty. The sacred place of the accomplished ones, the charnel ground, and the ocean and the good place, and likewise a hidden place. Wherever the mind is greatly satisfied, there practice, O lord of men! Having sat near on a soft bed and seat, after having done the protective measures mentioned before. 3. First, in the center of the moon in the heart, meditate that its rays of light radiate in all ten directions. Having purified the mouth etc., again to the Buddhas who pervade the sky. Having made various offerings, confess the many sins accumulated. The practitioner, with body, speech, and mind pure, takes refuge in the Three Jewels. 4. Whatever manifold virtues have been done by the complete Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and the assembly of noble ones. For all of these, liberation from sins, abiding in the practice of Bodhichitta, rejoice in following. The Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, snatching away the fear of existence, until enlightenment, I take refuge. May I become a complete Buddha, here I make the aspiration for the sake of sentient beings. 5. Emptiness, the nature of the essence of things, all beings are completely inferior to things. From that there is no Buddha, enlightenment, or compassion for others.

Devoid of faults and vows of characteristics, knowing all things as they are, even so, the Vajra of body, speech, and mind of the lord of men. The immeasurable qualities, the mandala of power, should be meditated upon by the Bodhisattvas in the mandala. 6. Water diminishes fire. Initially, here in the center of the body, it is done by those who strive for discipline. From the outside, the earth elements transform into water, like salt, deeply entering into the middle of the water. The wind dries up those water streams, and in the sky, they quickly go without appearing. The mind is the end of fire and darkness, separate from objects and appearances, and should be placed in the middle. 7. Emptiness, wind, fire, water, and earth, as well as the mountain of gods, lotus, moon, sun, and fire, are like multi-storied houses, all stainless, radiating light, or tents born from Vajra. In its center, on the Vajra ground, the wheel of a multitude of jewel lights shines forth. The syllable Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), born from wisdom, the lotus of the supreme Victor, and the seats of the moon and sun. 8. Outwardly, the wheel of speech, the jewel lotus, is diminished by the moon and sun. Outwardly, in the directions and corners, are lotuses made by the day, and in the center of the doors are chariots. In the sun's doors are the nature of kings, jewels, and gold, stables, and cemeteries. In the heart, eight and two pillars, the nature of Vajra, the wheel of perfect enjoyment, of the Victor. 9. On the moon and sun, also A, etc., Ka, etc., together with Vajra, the five like mirrors. Emitting five rays of light, meditate on the stainless light, the wheel of time. The body adorned with Vajra ornaments, and the lotus of the Victor's hand, the arm of the sun, the face of time. Three necks and the eyes of the sun, the extremely vast face, also with half-exposed fangs. 10. The glorious syllable Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城体:ओ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), born from the lotus of the lord of Victors, on the moon, sun, and fire. In the heart of the two fierce bodiless ones, the feet of the lord of Victors, extremely playful, are in a right-extended posture. Under the right red supreme foot is the demon, who is white, and on the left is also the fierce one. The necks in the middle, right, and non-right are like bees and the sun, the color of the moons. 11. The shoulders are blue.
