The first yoga is called samadhi, the first body of self-nature. The first yoga is called samadhi, the first body of self-nature. In Sanskrit: Hevajra sadhana tattva otyota ta-kara nama. In Tibetan: The method of practicing Hevajra, called clarifying reality. Homage to Manjushri, the youthful one! Om, homage to Hevajra! The essence analyzed by one and many, the illusion of manifested phenomena. The body like a cloud at the end of time, embraced by supreme wisdom. Born from the vajra, the pure reality, surrounded by manifested goddesses. With a compassionate and wrathful form, Hevajra, I always pay homage. Whoever holds the vajra. The fruit, the glorious blood-drinker. The lama who reveals that. Homage to the samaya vajra. First, contemplate the realm of sentient beings who are temporarily afflicted by various sufferings, and with a mind filled with the taste of supreme compassion, habitually practice the ten perfections such as generosity. Possessing a pure mind stream, having received empowerment and permission in the glorious Hevajra mandala, the yogi who is skilled in vows and conduct. Rising at dawn, visualize the supreme first syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) on the sun disc born from Repa in one's heart. Residing in a pleasant place such as a charnel ground, sitting on a comfortable cushion, with the mudra of samadhi, with the iron hook of light born from the syllable Hūṃ, summon the Bhagavan who is about to be proclaimed, possessing color, hands, and weapons, look towards the sky, and offer offerings such as flowers created from the mind. Offer the five desirable qualities with the goddesses such as Gauri born from the seed syllable in the heart. Among them, Gauri holds a skull cup marked with a deer in her hand. Chauri's hand is occupied by a vessel filled with self-arisen flowers. Vetali's two hands are occupied by a water vessel. Ghasmari holds a vessel filled with meat. Pukkasi holds sandalwood.

Holding a vessel filled with liquor. The Shavari is one who pours honey from the vessel. The Chandali is one who beats the chang-te'u and makes offerings. The Dombi is one who embraces from the neck and makes them harmonious. Then, in front of the Bhagavan, one should perform confession and so forth. I will separately confess all my sins. I rejoice in the merit of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and all individual beings. Until I reach the heartwood of enlightenment, I take refuge in the Buddha Vajradhara, who possesses great compassion, and all the Mahayana Dharma, and the irreversible Bodhisattvas and the assembly of goddesses, the Sangha. I generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, in order to accomplish benefit and happiness for all sentient beings, and in order to thoroughly establish these beings in the ultimate nirvana of Buddhahood. Like this, I will also rely on this very path of the unsurpassed Great Vehicle. I also offer myself to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I also completely dedicate all these roots of virtue to unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Saying this, one prostrates and also gives the torma, and also pleases them by reciting the Hundred Syllable Mantra: Om Shri Heruka Samaya Manu Palaya Heruka Tvenopatistha Dridho Me Bhava, Anurakto Me Bhava, Sutoshyo Me Bhava, Suposhyo Me Bhava, Sarva Siddhi Mem Prayaccha, Sarva Karma Suca Me Cittam Shriyah Kuru Hum, Haha Haha Ho, Bhagavan Heruka, Ma Me Munca Heruka Bhava Maha Samaya Sattva Ah Hum Phet Vajra Muh. By saying this, one invites them to depart. Then, one should meditate on love, which has the characteristic of equality, like cherishing a single child for all sentient beings, and compassion, which has the characteristic of wishing to turn them away from suffering and the cause of suffering, and joy, which is delight in accomplishing and generating the happiness of the gods for those very beings, and then equanimity, which has the aspect of wishing to accomplish the path of unsurpassed bliss for those very beings. All beings are empty by their very nature.
