On the fire altar, substances such as food are poured by hand into the sun-like fire in the heart, and a fire offering is performed. From the white Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ།,梵文天城体:हूँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ) arises a vajra tongue, marked with a vajra, the size of a barley grain. The yogi offers the fire offering filled with the nature of Heruka, possessing the three bodies and all the qualities of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, all of which enter through the gate of the throat. The nectar matured by the fire of hunger, with this nectar, may the Blessed One, possessing all the qualities of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, be satisfied. This is the ritual of the inner fire offering. In beginningless and past lives, the endless thoughts that separate self and others are considered inferior. The bliss that falsely appears, here constantly transforms into various beautiful adornments. From purity, the dominion and peace of the Buddhas, the nature of equality and non-duality. Assuredly in saṃsāra and nirvāṇa, the lord of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa relies on the qualities of the king, Vajra Ḍākinī, the Sage of the Śākyas. The Heruka deity's practice is extremely clear, composed by the glorious Jewel Maiden. Complete with limbs and branches, it is rightly named the Treasure of Perfect Purity. Whatever merit I have accumulated by doing this, may it be the cause of freedom from suffering. By this, may beings of the three realms quickly attain the state of Mahāmudrā!
