Chapter One: Explanation of Difficult Points Chapter One: Explanation of Difficult Points In Sanskrit: Śrīsahajaānandapradīpaṃ nāma pañcikā. In Tibetan: A Commentary on the Difficult Points Called "The Lamp of Joy, Glorious Co-emergent." Homage to the Glorious Essence of Wisdom! Wisdom transcends sorrow, supremely joyful and vast. Awareness revolves, supremely blissful, benefiting beings. This unequaled, precious, and adorned sovereign, is composed for self-remembrance and the benefit of disciples. The meaning of "Thus I have heard," etc., is extensively applied to the meaning of the four syllables, and divided into provisional and definitive meanings. That is, it teaches thus: The lord of the five, such as Buddhas and Dakinis, whatever their essence, is called Vajrasattva, and that is considered to be the essence. This tantra, from beginning to end, speaks of meaning and qualities, therefore it is Vajrasattva. It is also a tantra because of its connection. The lineage of A is inherently one, yet it delights in many letters of the lineage. Similarly, it gathers back into one. This is a common metaphor for the tantra. The nature of meaning is of one taste, yet wisdom and method are divided into two. That is, from dividing into two and two, even one is divided into five and five. Meaning and measure, etc., are easy to understand, so they are not explained. In "Thus," etc., it is "E vaṃ." E, the triangle, is the source of Dharma, the nature of wisdom. Vaṃ, the circle, is the nature of the wisdom of method, extensively explained. That is, "In the beautiful form of E, the center is adorned in a hundred ways by Vaṃ." Thus it is said. "Thus I have heard, at one time, the Blessed One," etc., are the perfections of the tantra, etc., the tantra and the compiler, the divine sovereign, and being apart from past times, etc., that is, a time without focus, the teacher, the Blessed One himself, and the retinue of heroes and heroines, etc., seventy-two kotis, and the Blessed Mother, the Prajñāpāramitā, taught by the space of the Dharma realm, the source, etc. Or, "Thus I have heard" refers to the wheel of great bliss, the wheel of enjoyment, the wheel of Dharma, the wheel of emanation, etc., or the source of the Buddha's eye, etc.

It is said to be the four goddesses and so on. Hearing means that I myself have heard it, not like a transmission from one to another. The so-called "from one time" refers to the end point of the Emanation Wheel, the place of Vajrasattva, where everything is united, and that is when the true time should be understood. The so-called "Bhagavan" refers to the one who subdues the maras of the four wheels and so on, and is the nature of the wisdom and qualities of the six joys such as destruction. The so-called "Tathagata" refers to the one who, like those who have passed away before, has passed away with the channels and so on completely purified, and abides in the gods and goddesses. The so-called "all" refers to the complete absence of the previous forms of the channels and so on. Body, speech, and mind refer to the three, such as the Great Bliss Wheel, which are the wheels of the three families. Vajra refers to the Emanation Wheel, which is the navel or heart. The so-called "heroes" refers to the sixteen channels on the right side of the Great Bliss Wheel, or the channels of skillful means. The so-called "heroines" refers to the channels on the left side of the Great Bliss Wheel, as well as the pure form of the Enjoyment Wheel, or the channels of wisdom on the left. The so-called "pervaded" refers to the dakinis and so on who are pervaded by all of them. The so-called "consort" refers to the female, that is, the wisdom mother of the action seal and so on. They constantly abide in that place. Alternatively, the heroes and so on should be understood through the semen of bodhicitta and the difference of bliss. There, the passage from "Glorious Sky Immaculate Pure" to "Face of Sky" reveals the names of the sixteen heroes, and from "Heroine Independent Mother Lāma" to "Mother," and from "Marata" to "Desire Form Mother," reveals the names of the heroines.
