A Commentary on the Difficult Points of "The Lamp of Joy Born Together," called "Glorious" Made by Vajra Secret. A Commentary on the Difficult Points of "The Lamp of Joy Born Together." Made by Vajra Secret. Explanation of the Difficulties in Chapter One. In Sanskrit: Śrīsahajaānandapradīpaṃ nāmapañcikā. In Tibetan: A Commentary on the Difficult Points of "The Lamp of Joy Born Together," called "Glorious." Homage to the Glorious Essence of Wisdom Thigle! Wisdom's Nirvana, Supreme Blissful Space, Wisdom's Samsara, Supreme Joyful Beings, Non-Dual Precious Jewel, Powerful Light, Composed from Self-Remembrance and Students' Benefit. The meaning of "Thus I have heard," etc., is extensively applied to the meaning of four letters, and divided into provisional and definitive meanings. That is to say, "Thus" refers to the Lord of the Buddhas, Dakinis, and the like, whose essence is Vajrasattva, and that is considered to be the essence. This tantra, from beginning to end, speaks of meaning and qualities, therefore it is Vajrasattva. Moreover, because of the connection, it is called Tantra. The family of the letter A is originally one, but it delights in many letters of the family, and likewise, it returns to one again. This is an analogy for the harmony of the tantra. The nature of meaning is one taste, but wisdom and means are divided into two. Moreover, from dividing into two and two, one is also divided into five and five. Meaning and measure, etc., are not explained because they are easy to understand. "Thus," etc., is "Ewam" (ཨེ་ཝཾ, E vaṃ, Ewam, Thus). E (ཨེ་, E, E, Thus) is a triangle, the source of Dharma, the nature of wisdom. Vam (ཝཾ, vaṃ, vam, Having) is a circle, the nature of the wisdom of means, which should be explained extensively. It is also said: In the beautiful form of E (ཨེ་, E, E, Thus), Vam (ཝཾ, vaṃ, vam, Having) is in the center and pervades. Thus it is said. "Thus I have heard, at one time," refers to the perfections of the tantra, etc., the tantra and the collector, the freedom of the deity, and being separated from past times, etc., which is a time without focus. The teacher is the Blessed One himself, the retinue of heroes and heroines, etc., seventy-two kotis, and the Blessed Mother, the space of Prajñāpāramitā, indicated by the place of the source of Dharma, etc. Furthermore, "Thus I have heard" is great bliss.
