Glorious, profound meaning made clear, great wonder! Profound Vajra. Glorious, profound meaning made clear, great wonder! Profound Vajra. Explanation of the First Chapter. In Indian language: Śrī Guhyārtha Prakāśa Mahā Ādbhūta Nāma. In Tibetan language: Called Glorious, Profound Meaning Made Clear, Great Wonder. Homage to Glorious Vajrasattva! Master of the nature of Mahāmudrā, the very nature of self-awareness, free from elaboration, separate from the body, I bow to the nature of wisdom's sky. Among the supreme of actions, conduct, yoga, yoga masters, and the tantras of unsurpassed yoga, from that very king of the Mahāmudrā bindu tantra, whatever the glorious guru spoke to the disciple, that which was granted to me, that itself is the meaning. Afterwards, from the yogini's teachings, with desire and the power of formless speech, for the sake of conversing with vajra brothers, I heard that I was asked. That is, how the guru determined the order, examine it well. First, briefly explain the five, such as what is said. Why is that? Because it teaches the tantra in brief, in detail, and separately, and knows all the meanings of wisdom and what arises from wisdom. Therefore, it is good to ask the five, such as what is said. The order is as follows: what is said, what is to be said, the connection, the need, and the need of the need. There, from the nature of parts and bindus, etc., the aspect of the union of six, down to the knowledge of the fifty-four letters, writing whatever is called the name of the glorious wisdom ḍākinī, up to its limit, that is what is said. That is, what the glorious Mahāmudrā bindu venerable one speaks, that is what is to be said. Those said and what is to be said, because of the nature of being non-dual, seeing the meaning of taming with the reality of wisdom and means being non-dual, whatever secret empowerment etc. is given and also received, that is the need. After obtaining empowerment etc., whatever fruit is obtained, that is the need of the need. The term 'fruit' means Buddha himself. Or, the vajra is the detailed explanation of the meaning of the tantra. Whatever the connection, ask about that. Whatever the meaning of what is to be said, that is

This is a brief indication of the Tantra. What is to be spoken is the detailed exposition of the meaning of the Tantra. What is related is the separate indication of secret empowerments, etc. What is needed is the wisdom of the wisdom empowerment. What is needed of the need is what arises from the wisdom of the oral instruction of the fourth meaning. The meaning of the word "arising from wisdom" is that it encompasses all wisdom. This is the treatise of the master. What is spoken here in the treatise of the compiler is the Tantra of brief indication. What is to be spoken is what is endowed with hands, faces, etc., which are extensively explained. What is related is the retinue of dakinis separately indicated. The wisdom that is needed is the destruction of ordinary desire, since wisdom and means are indispensable for those who are tamed by desire. What is needed of the need, arising from wisdom, is to reach the state of great bliss for those who are nourished by diseases such as happiness and unhappiness existing in countless world realms. This is the explanation of the compiler's treatise in the presence of the master. The questioner also says this there. Since I have not heard such words in the Tantra, what is the compiler's treatise like? The Vajra Master gave the command. The nature of the five families. O Vajra, it has been said that in the root Tantra, such things as "I have heard" are closely indicated. At that time, in the center of the non-other retinue, in order to immediately expand the great secret meaning of all the root meaning Tantras of the Yogini treatises. It is said from the Secret Ocean Tantra called the Later Tantra of the Great Seal Point. "Later" means previously extracted, and it is said thus from the Glorious Buddha Union Oneness Instruction. Therefore, the compiler did not say, "Thus I have heard," etc. However, the root and examination, etc., all the Tantras are the words of the compiler. For what reason? The Blessed One Vajrasattva is difficult for gods and humans, etc., to obtain, therefore, the compiler heard from the mouth of the Blessed One and clearly explained it to gods and humans, etc. Likewise, it is not spoken by the compiler himself.
