These are the four activities. I shall firmly hold. This is when meditating on Vairochana, meditating on a five-pronged white vajra, when unbearable, meditating on a blue vajra, when Ratnasambhava, meditating on a yellow jewel, when Amitabha, meditating on a red lotus, when Amoghasiddhi, meditating on a multi-colored vajra. Bodhicitta is supreme. This is to say that with the six paramitas, extensively accumulating virtuous dharmas, generating bodhicitta. Those who are not subdued, subdue them with pacification. Those who are not liberated, liberate them with increase. Those who do not exhale, cause them to exhale, which is to subdue them with love. Establish sentient beings in nirvana, which is to subdue them with wrath. Thus, after the preliminary practices are completed, in order to meditate on the five stages of manifest enlightenment, therefore it should be explained, thinking thus and entering into samadhi, it is the teaching that was spoken. Then, having entered the chamber of meditation, it is to be contemplated in the abode of the king of the Akanishta gods. Then, on the vajra at the heart, mentally write the mantra called Vajrasattva Hum (Tibetan: བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཧཱུཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रसत्त्व हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: vajrasattva hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Vajrasattva Hum), then meditate on the ultimate bodhicitta. Then, the yogi's body should be meditated on without moving, and having meditated on the appearance like a mirror, stabilize it with the first mantra called Om Tsitta Prati Be Dham Ka Ro Mi (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཙིཏྟ་པྲ་ཏི་བེ་དྷཾ་ཀ་རོ་མི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ citta prati be dhaṃ ka ro mi, Chinese literal meaning: ). Above that, arrange the sixteen vowels in a triangle and generate the qualities of the sixteen emptinesses. Then, meditate as Ratnasambhava and generate the aspect of equality, like a second moon. Stabilize it with Om Bodhi Tsitta Utpada Yami (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བོ་དྷི་ཙིཏྟ་ཨུཏྤཱ་ད་ཡཱ་མི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ bo dhi citta utpā da yā mi, Chinese literal meaning: ). Arrange the thirty-three consonants as the deities of the mandala and generate the qualities of the deities. Then, generate as Amitabha and meditate on the vajra on the second moon, stabilize it with Om Tishta Ta Bajra (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཏིཥྛ་ཏ་བཛྲ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ tiṣṭha ta bajra, Chinese literal meaning: ), and generate the qualities of non-leakage. Then, generate as Amoghasiddhi, and radiate and gather the rays of light, and insert the body, speech, and mind of the Tathagata's realm, stabilize it with Bajra Atma Ko 'Ham (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཨཱ་ཏྨ་ཀོ྅ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्रात्मकॊऽहम्, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra ātma ko 'haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Vajra Self I am), the gate of liberation without appearance, emptiness, the signless without a place, the unborn before

, as well as the unmanifested clear light, generating the qualities of the nature of the Dharmadhatu of things and non-things. Being indestructible, free from the obscurations of afflictions and the obscurations of the Dharma taken by attachment, and free from the obscurations of karma without appropriation, the Vajra nature is completely matured, without obscurations, and this Vajra nature becomes the Dharmakaya. Then, meditate on Vairochana and generate the four-faced Sambhogakaya on the moon-Vajra in the heart, and stabilize it by reciting "Om Ya Tha Sarva Tathagata Sta Tatha Hum" (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཡ་ཐཱ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏཱ་སྟ་ཐཱ་ཧཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओँ यथा सर्व तथागता स्त तथा हम्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ yathā sarva tathāgatā sta tathā haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, thus, all, Tathagata, dwell, thus, Hum). Now, I will explain the order of manifestation of enlightenment, reversing the order of generation. From what does the Sambhogakaya arise? It arises from the nature of peaceful secrecy. From what is the secret? It is from the action Vajra. From what does the action arise? It is from the object of action, the second moon. From what does the second moon arise? It is from the realization of the first moon. Thus, the five manifestations of enlightenment are the nature of all Buddhas, arising from the one path of non-learning. Vajragarbha asked: In this way, how is the order of womb-born beings reasonable? The Bhagavan replied: The second moon is the lotus, and the Vajra above it is the abode of all Tathagatas, therefore it is said that the Vajra dwells on the lotus. Then, it arises from the emission and absorption of light. All Buddhas arise from this, and Vairochana also arises from this, which is the cause Vajradhara. Then, generating the fruit Vajradhara in the center of the palace, therefore the order of womb-born beings arising from the Tantra of Yogis, arising from the union of bhaga (Tibetan: བྷ་ག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भग, Sanskrit Romanization: bhaga, Literal Chinese meaning: female genitalia) and the lotus, is not contradictory. Having generated the great cause Vajradhara in this way, now we will generate the mandala of the support, writing the mantras above and below. The so-called "writing the mantras above and below" refers to the Mount Meru above. Below, write the mantras of the four elements, thereby generating the mandala. The form of Mount Meru should be generated. The so-called "should be generated" refers to generating from the syllable suṃ (Tibetan: སུཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: सुं, Sanskrit Romanization: suṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Sum) four colors, having eight peaks, surrounded by seven golden mountains and seven playful seas.
