The second chapter of the second examination, explaining the inconceivable profound completion stage. The second chapter of the second examination, explaining the inconceivable profound completion stage. Having thus explained the empowerment of wisdom and innate wisdom, now the fourth empowerment will be explained, which is "Those who engage in benefiting others are diligent." This is what the teacher considers the emptiness of the mind. For the benefit of practitioners, it is desired that the disciple obtain the fourth empowerment. "Meditating on the meaning of wisdom and means," means that wisdom is the realm of dharma, and means is meditating on emptiness, which is the direct perception of self-awareness. Meditation is the accomplishment of direct perception. Having thus briefly explained it, now it will be explained in detail, that is, "Whoever meditates on cyclic existence, does not dwell in the ocean that is difficult to cross, the yogi is only for his own benefit, by meditating he attains nirvana." This means that a Hearer who meditates on the selflessness of the individual does not dwell in the ocean of cyclic existence, and the yogi of the lesser vehicle, only meditates for his own benefit, and attains nirvana without remainder. The yogi of the Bodhisattva, with wisdom does not abide in existence, and with compassion does not abide in peace. What is it like? "Whoever is perfect to the extreme, becomes a vessel of stainless Buddha." That is, the eleventh ground is perfect to the extreme, free from the stains of the two obscurations, which is the single taste of emptiness like illusion, and becomes a rare Buddha. Why is it rare? Because the antidote increases and is liberated from the obscurations of afflictions. If so, how does one become a Buddha? In the realm of illusion, the unsurpassed Bodhi arises. Thus, having shown dwelling in cyclic existence and nirvana, and being free from increase and decrease, and having shown being free from antidote and what is to be abandoned, it is said, "The five aggregates and other dharmas, and the three vehicles are not to be abandoned." That is, the impure five aggregates and so on should not be abandoned, nor should the three vehicles, which are the antidote to them, be abandoned. Why? It is said, "The dharma realm is equal," that is, equality is the antidote, purity, and inequality is the purity of the five aggregates and so on. Both are of the dharma.
