Third Spike. Explaining the Perfection Stage in Detail. Third Spike. Explaining the Perfection Stage in Detail. The Tathagatas, having accomplished their work by revealing the unsurpassed Bodhicitta, make requests for the sake of the Bodhisattvas, starting with "Then." It is the essence because it is taught through the oneness of emptiness. The great secret is hidden, because it is not the realm of experience for others besides the Tathagatas. Wisdom is the Bodhicitta, and unsurpassed means not abiding in samsara or nirvana, therefore there is nothing superior to it. "Having known" means having manifested. It has been explained as the essence of all tantras. Wisdom alone is the lamp, because it destroys the darkness of conceptualization about things and non-things, and so on. That alone is the Vajra, because it is one with emptiness. Having entered into the Samadhi called "Thus," it means having strengthened the mind by realizing that all aspects are perfectly pure, and that wisdom and skillful means are inseparable. The meaning of "Great Secret," etc., is that the meaning of the words "Thus I have heard," etc., should also be taught here. The word "secret" refers to all the Tathagatas. Among them, the existence of the essence of the Dharmadhatu is the Great Secret Dharma Source. There, one dwells in a palace built on top of Mount Meru. Or in such a great secret, namely in the bhaga of the embracing goddess. Or in such great secrets as the wheels of emanation, namely the nature of earth and so on, as explained in the bhaga of the consorts such as the Eyemother. Or the Great Secret is the bhaga of the Perfection of Wisdom, emptiness, and abiding there is dwelling. If asked, "In what kind of transformed Great Secret?" it is said, "Supreme Transformation." Supreme Transformation refers to where all the perfect qualities of the world and beyond are. Or in the realm of supreme wisdom. Or how does supreme Nirvana measure the fruit itself? Here, it measures the supreme by measuring and completely cutting off. Or the place of the cause of the enemies on the other shore, the afflictions.

In that place, what kills and makes small is supreme. Because of joy, in the realm of the supreme bliss that arises from the activity of rejoicing with the play of great bliss in perfect union with limitless goddesses such as the lotus-eyed mother, it is the realm of practice that generates supreme bliss. "All is self-nature" means that all great secrets are the self-nature of all Tathagatas. Or, because it is the self-nature of wisdom like a mirror, all is self-nature. Or, all is Vajradhara, and because it is his self-nature, it is said to be so. This speaks of the perfection of the place. "Always dwells" means that he never moves anywhere at any time without interruption, because it is the nature of the manifold. Because of the nature of what arises now and the constancy of what arises constantly, the nature of Dharma and co-emergent, perfect enjoyment, and emanation is the meaning of dwelling in the midst of limitless consorts in the place mentioned here. Furthermore, the realms to be expressed by the sixteen letters such as "ra" are the Bhagavan Vajradhara, and the three meanings of the words such as "secret" in the twenty-first and twenty-fourth chapters are explained, and after definitely showing the five realms, wisdom, and Tathagatas, it will be explained that its nature is Vajrasattva. All Buddhas are equal to the constancy of the dust of all world realms, and because of their nature and because of their causal nature, all Buddhas are real. This means that the retinue is perfect because it is completely surrounded by all Buddhas. Sentient beings and the lords of the ten bhumis and others are bodhisattvas because they are very capable of accomplishing the benefit of reality and lineage. This speaks of the Sambhogakaya. Vajrasattva is the nature of the Bodhicitta, which is the inseparable Dharmakaya of the nature of emptiness and the Sahajakaya of the nature of compassion and bliss, and the nature of wisdom and skillful means. The supreme is the uncontaminated, immutable, and great bliss, which is its nature.
