Instructions on Empowerment: Again, with the Vajra offering, inquire about "That Deity" and so on. The Blessed One's response is: There is no beginning or end there, no existence, no nirvana, this is supreme bliss, no self, and no other. This is like the eye of a crow, determining the meaning of both the former and the latter. Explaining through the power of knowledge, the meaning of before and after arises simultaneously, and it simultaneously reveals the realization of the Completion Stage. Firstly, there is no beginning, meaning things have not arisen. There is no abiding in the middle. There is no cessation at the end. No existence means that all things of samsara do not exist, nor do they exist in nirvana. There is no self and no other, meaning there is no object to be grasped and no grasper. Here, supreme bliss is the characteristic of the fruit, showing the unconditioned, self-born great wisdom. Again, at the beginning there is joy, in the middle there is supreme joy, and at the end there is joylessness. No existence, no nirvana, is co-emergent joy, meaning samsara and nirvana are inseparable. This is supreme bliss, symbolizing the wisdom of meaning that is without outflows. What is called no self and no other is the cessation of the thought of self and other. Again, what is called no existence is that the outer container world and all sentient beings within are gathered into the mandala of support and supported. What is called no nirvana is that the mandala of support and supported are gathered into Heruka and the Selfless Mother. No self and no other means that the Selfless Mother is also gathered into Heruka. There, no beginning, middle, or end means that the moon and sun in the heart are gathered into the syllable Hūṃ (吽,hūṃ,hūṃ,Destroying) in the center. Hūṃ is also contained in the foot curve, the foot curve is contained in A (ཨ,a,a,Without), and A is contained in Ha (ཧ,ha,ha,Astonishment). Ha is contained in the crescent moon, the crescent moon is contained in the bindu, the bindu is as thin as a flame. This is what is called supreme bliss. One should meditate on co-emergent wisdom, which is free from all elaborations. Now, the method of empowerment is shown: In the wave of enjoyment, with one's own right hand and the other hand, the thumb and ring finger, the yogi should squeeze. What is called Lalana and Rasana means squeezing with one's own hand and the guru's hand.

From that, the four joys gradually arise as wisdom. What arises from that? Like the joy of youth, like the dream of a mute. Thus, it is an example of an experience that cannot be expressed. How can it be symbolized? The edge of the supreme and the center of joylessness, emptiness and non-emptiness, Heruka. Thus, the edge of the supreme is the supreme joy. The center of joylessness is both joyless and central, meaning it is done after the supreme joy. The last is co-emergent, its meaning is emptiness, thus it is the three doors of liberation. Non-emptiness is non-dual wisdom, which is the meaning of glorious Heruka. Some say that the center of joylessness is the last of joylessness, meaning the third is co-emergent. Although there are many investigations into this, it has not been done for fear of prolixity. The method of bestowing those empowerments should be learned from the lama. Chapter Five. Fifth, the chapter on generating Heruka.
