Chapter 5: The Chapter on Suchness. Chapter 5: The Chapter on Suchness. Now, from here, the chapter on Suchness will be explained. Among these, there are four kinds of Suchness: the Suchness of Self, the Suchness of Mantra, the Suchness of Deity, and the Suchness of Wisdom. The Vajra family's sequential divisions are the Suchness of Self. The Mantra's sequential divisions are the Suchness of Mantra. The Deity's sequential divisions are the Suchness of Deity. The Empowerment's sequential divisions are the Suchness of Wisdom. Thus, having shown the four Suchnesses, because the four are inseparable, it is taught in order for Vajradhara to realize the Wisdom Suchness of the nature of the Dharmadhatu, which is utterly pure. "Then," means subsequently, without interruption. "The sequential divisions of Suchness will be explained," means that Suchness itself is being taught. Saying "Essence is formless" means that one's own essence is one's own essence. Whatever and whatever's essence, that and that's essence is that's nature. Therefore, that does not exist. As it is also said in the Prajnaparamita Sutra, "Whatever is form is empty of the essence of form." Feeling, perception, volition, and whatever is consciousness are empty of their own essence, and so on. Seeing is also seeing, it does not exist by its own essence. This is the first of the sequential divisions of the Suchness of Self. "No sound, nor is there a hearer." That is to say, similarly, in all things, it should be added that it exists by its own essence. Sound does not exist by the essence of sound. Hearing is that the hearer does not exist by his own essence, this is the Suchness of Mantra, the sequential division of Mantra. "No odor, nor is there a smeller." That is to say, it should be added similarly. Because odor is the object of the nose consciousness, the nose consciousness also becomes absorbed into Nada. What rides on Nada is the mind. These three Suchnesses are the Suchness of Deity, the sequential division of Deity. "No taste, nor is there a taster." That is to say, taste is the characteristic of experiencing, and this is also the Suchness of Wisdom, the sequential division of Empowerment. "No touch, nor is there a toucher."

Yes, because it is the nature of the collection of the four suchness. Contact and joy ultimately reach all kinds of joy. No mind, no arising from mind. This is because the joy of co-emergence transcends the mind, so the sixth is Vajradhara. Or, the essence is formless, invisible. Like this, the four (aspects) are used to explain the four suchness. Because skillful means and wisdom are inseparable. No touch, and no toucher. No mind, no arising from mind. This is the collection (of the four suchness). Like this, with the objects of the order, the six objects, namely form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and the realm of phenomena, and the six faculties of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. The nature of this (six faculties) is also the three realms. In order to abandon discrimination. The generating mother and sister, the yogic knower always makes offerings. The non-dyeing woman Vajra Mother, the outcaste woman is also like the Brahmin woman. With the ritual of skillful means and wisdom, constantly make offerings because of desiring that (suchness). The meaning of this passage is easy to understand. Or, by the name of the generating mother, refer to the five objects such as form, because they produce the goer. It is expressed by the word "generating mother." In most cases, due to excessive attachment to what can be grasped, the objectifying faculties are produced. By the name of sister, refer to the five faculties such as the eye, because they show the share. "The wisdom sister should be spoken of like this." This is explained by this sentence. In this way, the five objects such as form of the five faculties such as the eye are graspable, therefore, the combination of the two is the yoga of wisdom. Constantly, that is, at all times, in an uninterrupted and non-discriminating way. Offering, that is, close enjoyment, which indicates the blessing of Vajra and Padma. This also indicates the blessing of the eyes and so on. Because it is the wisdom arising from the combination of object and faculty, it also indicates the blessing of the body. The non-dyeing woman Vajra Mother, the outcaste woman is also like the Brahmin woman. Lineage exists in five forms. Offering is what should be accustomed to. How to do it? "With the ritual of skillful means and wisdom." That is, to distinguish between object and faculty by the nature of skillful means and wisdom.
