Translation completed. The commentary on the ninth chapter of the Hevajra Tantra, written by Padmamitra Vajra, is complete. Chapter Ten: Explanation of the Empowerment Chapter. "The house of the Bodhisattva" refers to the charnel ground. Or, in any place therein, meaning that through the cause of skillful means and wisdom, accomplishments will be attained. For this, lineage is not a measure. The "mask of the Mudra Mother" will be shown when explaining the four empowerments. The nature of innate bliss has already been explained in the chapter on the gathering of the great yoginis. Here, it is shown for the sake of the disciples' understanding, so it will not be a fault of repetition. Or, "abandoning all," etc., attachment and non-attachment are conjectured through inverted conceptualizations. When that conceptualization ceases, it too will cease. When the two cease, the intermediate is also not seen. Therefore, innate bliss is abandoned by these three. Or, the nature of what was just explained should be understood. How should it be understood? That is, one understands oneself in a way that is free from all elaboration, and cannot express it to others. Having abandoned this, innate bliss cannot be found elsewhere. Therefore, innate bliss is the nature of the three joys. "The bliss of supreme play" is samadhi without conceptualization. By attaining this, one becomes free from conceptualizations such as grasping. "Two natures" means that innate bliss is called two because of the distinction between skillful means and wisdom. Nature is the perfectly complete Buddha. "Emptiness" means that all phenomena are invisible. "Compassion" means liberating all sentient beings from samsara. That nature which liberates with an object is called compassion. How can emptiness, which is without an object, and compassion, which has an object, become one? There is no fault in this, because any samadhi that has emptiness is called emptiness. That is the nature of appearance. Compassion is the nature of the eye of wisdom. Therefore, when appearance arises in samadhi and one looks with the eye of compassion, then any sentient being

Having understood that liberation will occur through this gateway, one will work for the benefit of sentient beings. Therefore, emptiness and compassion are not contradictory. Therefore, these two become virtues to each other. The commentary on the tenth chapter of the Hevajra Tantra, composed by Padmāṅkuravajra, is complete. Eleventh Chapter: Explanation of the Chapter on Vajragarbha's Manifest Enlightenment. "The power of looking that resides on the left" means that one should look to the left with both eyes. This is called the view of power. In such an order, one looks to the right and makes a gesture of beckoning. This is called the view of beckoning. The two eyeballs also upwards, and so on, means that the second eyeball moves to the left and makes the fifth slightly upwards. This is called the view of stiffness. "The front of the nose is continuous," which means that the two eyeballs are placed between the eyes and one looks at the tip of the nose. This is called the view of killing. "This thought should not be done" means that one should not doubt. Why should one not doubt? Because it comes from valid cognition ( प्रमाण ,pramāṇa). What is valid cognition? That which has been practiced and has become manifest is called valid cognition. Therefore, "The Buddha's miraculous powers are inconceivable." In this context, inconceivable means without conceptualization. What is without conceptualization? In countless realms of the world, there are countless cycles of existence, and nirvana, and so on, which manifest countless miraculous powers. If all of these can be accomplished by a yogi, then what need is there to mention that mere seeing can be accomplished? "There is no need for this killing here," which indicates the samaya to be protected. "First na and first ga," and so on, indicate the samaya to be consumed. The commentary on the king of the division of Vajragarbha's complete and unsurpassed enlightenment in the Hevajra Tantra, composed by Padmāṅkuravajra, is complete. Commentary on the First Chapter.
