Therefore, 'ma' is mind, and 'tra' is protection, which is compassion. The elaboration for the benefit of sentient beings is the very essence of mantra. The so-called 'essence of the deity' is the complete purification of the deities by mirror-like wisdom, etc., which is the essence of the deity. The so-called 'essence of wisdom' is non-dual wisdom, which is the essence because it is not inverted. The teaching of the 'four joys' and so on is explained separately in the eighth chapter with 'a little happiness is joy' and so on. The so-called 'four divisions' are also just a brief explanation, which will be explained separately in the fourth chapter of the Second Examination with 'the wheel of manifestation abides'. From 'moon and sun' to 'hours', it is shown by the distinction between day and night, thus revealing the complete purity of the four wheels of the mantra's nature. The so-called 'moon and sun' is the distinction between night and day. 'Āli kāli' is the distinction between method and wisdom, that is, for night and day. Among them, the wheels of the heart and head are the moon and method. The wheels of the navel and throat are day and wisdom. The so-called 'sixteen transfers' means that the winds are completely transferred, that is, the light of wisdom of the nature of wisdom rides on the chariot of the winds, and thus completely transfers in the two-two channels. The so-called 'sixteen time transfers' refers to day and night.

Since the Wisdom Mother is untouchable, she is Tummo. All discriminations cannot touch her, and she possesses the nature of the indivisibility of all dharmas. Because she possesses light, she is the Burning One, possessing the nature of essence and smoke, radiating light, and burning, etc. She has gone to the center of the eight-petaled Dharma wheel. The so-called Five Tathagatas, and also the so-called eyes, etc., are the nature of the five skandhas and the aspect of the discriminations of the four great elements. As the form of self-nature, residing in the center of the lotus, transformed into Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ།,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Hūṃ), the so-called burning is that which has been perfectly gathered into one taste. Just as when cloths of various colors are burned, they turn into the nature of ashes, so too, all the discriminations of various forms are without appearance, and because they have become the source of non-discriminating wisdom, they are burned. After that, in the wheel of perfect enjoyment, it transforms into the source of supreme joy, the sixteen-petaled lotus. Having completely dissolved in the form of the Sambhogakaya, thereafter, in the state of great bliss, all the firewood of discriminations should be burned. The so-called "Haṃ (藏文:ཧཾ་,梵文天城体:हं,梵文罗马拟音:haṃ,汉语字面意思:Haṃ)" is the indestructible one, liberated from all discriminations of unfavorable conditions. The so-called "Rabbit Holder" is the moon of bodhicitta, the nature of emptiness and the nectar of compassion. Until samsara is empty, it accomplishes the benefit of self and others, and is the nature of supreme bliss. That itself is completely perfect with the ten powers, the four fearlessnesses, and the eighteen unmixed qualities, etc., and because it is free from the darkness of clinging to self and what belongs to self, it is the Rabbit Holder. It is not the nature of other common siddhis, which are the activity of delusion. Some say that in order to show the fire offering of the body, the navel and so on were spoken. To that, the navel is the hearth. The wisdom of self-awareness, the eater of blessings, is Tummo, and the wind that moves upward through perfect union is the burning. The so-called Five Tathagatas are the discriminations of the five skandhas, and burning is clarity. The so-called eyes, etc., are the realms.

And also the aggregates, etc. Therefore, it will show the burnt offering transformed into substance. The so-called "burning" refers to the entirety of the burnt offering and firewood. The body endowed with the seed syllable (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) should be regarded as Vajra. The downward-facing (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Devanagari: हं, Romanized Sanskrit: haṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) is the nature of a slanting vessel. The so-called "dripping" is the nature of a full burnt offering. From this, the flow of the essence of Bodhicitta makes it pleased and will grant the desired fruit. The so-called Vajra Family Chapter, Vajra is the mind. It itself is the family, because it is the nature of all dharmas. Its samadhi is similar to coarse cloth, because it obscures and protects the minds of those to be tamed. Because it obtains and holds, whatever the collection of treatises, that is the Vajra Family Chapter, the first chapter. In the commentary on the Difficult Points of the Hevajra Tantra, "The Source of Remembrance," composed by Acharya Krishnacharya (Black Practitioner), the explanation of the first chapter is complete. First, the explanation of the Vajra Family Chapter.
