Thus. If one's own self is the actual mantra body, what else is there to seek? This clarification of the very nature of mantra is the means of accomplishment of the vajra of speech. With the distinctions of the three wisdoms, it is definitely joined with mind-only. Thus it is said. In the glorious Prophecy of Intentions Sutra, it is also said: Whatever letters were previously spoken, and whatever manifest in that direction, female, male, and neuter, are thoroughly examined in the totality and so forth, and correctly joined below and above. If you know and understand, then join them there. The recitation that follows the meaning is that, with the beauty of no self-nature, by abiding in the state of the neuter, the limbs of mantra abide indivisibly. In the glorious Lankavatara Sutra, it is also said: Great Wisdom, Bodhisattva Mahasattva should rely on the meaning, not rely on the words and syllables. Great Wisdom, a son or daughter of good family who follows after words and syllables harms himself and will not realize the ultimate limit of reality. Great Wisdom, it is like someone pointing out something to someone with the tip of their finger, and that person looks at the tip of the finger itself. Great Wisdom, likewise, the childish kind, the childish individuals, the assemblies of those whose nature seeks wisdom, manifestly cling to the tip of the finger that is just like the sound, and manifestly clinging to that, they will only die in that way. Abandoning the tip of the finger that is just like the sound, they do not seek the ultimate meaning. In the chapter on training in the glorious Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, it is also said: Subhuti, it is like this: if the life force of a person is cut off, then all the faculties will be cut off. Subhuti, likewise, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva is learning the Perfection of Wisdom, if ignorance is cut off, then all non-virtuous dharmas will be cut off. All the other perfections and so forth will also be included and completely grasped. Thus it is said. Therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva should arise desiring the meaning, and therefore, those who are inverted should abandon manifestly clinging to the meaning just like the sound.

Om. It is also said: After the mantra practitioner knows this, he should behave like a child. In this way, all mantras will be accomplished, arising from the non-discriminating Dharma. Thus it is said. It is also said in the glorious Stainless Light: In this Dharma of mantras, whatever mantras of fierce activity nature are well spoken by the lord of the three existences, all of them are never for the retinue of demons, but generate decline and destruction, and are never for sentient beings. Among these demons, whoever is the maker of memories, the one who delights in the battlefield and killing, and also other heretics. Thus it is said. It is also said in the glorious First Buddha: For whom lineage becomes the measure, for him, the lord of men, the Vedas become the measure. For whom the Vedas are the measure, for him, certainly in the place of the foundation, sacrifice becomes the measure. For whom sacrifice is the measure, for him, many livestock and people, harm becomes the measure. For whom harm becomes the measure, for him, the fear of hell, sin is the measure. Thus it is said. Therefore, in this Yogini Tantra, whoever is Vajra Dakini, they are the kind of animals, and for the ignorant, one should not pray to the wise who are proficient in the secret meaning. Why? For the sake of protecting sentient beings, the teacher of the three existences has spread them in the world realm. Therefore, those who possess supreme compassion, they protect the world and hate the practitioners who delude the world. If one has done deeds such as killing, if the object of practice dies due to the power of karma, then at this time this is the demon of the practitioner, it is caused by the pride of 'I have killed'. It is also said in the chapter of the sister goddess Ganga of the glorious Prajnaparamita: Like not seeing, the Blessed One said that all dharmas are like dreams. Thus, his karma is neither accumulated nor nearly accumulated. Venerable Shariputra, if that man wakes up, if he completely discriminates and generates the thought of killing, then his karma is both accumulated and nearly accumulated. Why? Venerable Shariputra, discriminating

And generates the thought of killing. If he kills in a dream and wakes up, thinking: Alas, I killed, I killed well! I killed very well! I killed! If he thus discriminates, then his karma will accumulate or increase. Even if the Buddha Bhagavan discriminates and generates the thought of exhaustion, then his karma will also accumulate or increase. In the Difficult Explanation of the Essence of Vajra Words Compiled, requested by the glorious, wise and virtuous friend Sthavira Dulva, the great Kashmiri Pandit who realized the Shri Hevajra Tantra, is the second chapter, the chapter on mantras. Second, Chapter on Mantras.
