First, the chapter on the Vajra Family. First, the chapter on the Vajra Family. In Sanskrit: Kaumudipañcikānāma. In Tibetan: A commentary on the difficult points called Kaumudi. Homage to Hevajra! Holding eight diseases such as elephants and horses with eight hands, and the remaining eight hands on the left. The perfection of the eight powers, the first of the wealth holders holding the powers in sequence is: A garland of skulls that subdues the dew of the half-moon that appears in the middle of the cloudless sky. The branches of the hands, the crown adorned with flowers, protect me, glorious Heruka! Bodhisattvas, Vajragarbha, etc. The supreme realm of practice, Hevajra. This is by the power and strength of the guru. I will also explain. Because it is stained by the impurity of evil display, the remainder of the name is: Whatever is obscured by darkness is no different from a lotus garden. From obscuration, this Kaumudi is the same. This Kaumudi is: To gather the path of the words of Hevajra. The word particle "thus," from "thus I have heard," etc., approaches the ultimate tantra of "thus it was said." "I" means Vajragarbha, who gathers. "Heard" means familiarity. From what? "Bhagavan" means from the Bhagavan. "Dwells" means from abiding. Because of the connection of hearing, for the sake of complete transformation, the first in the sense of the fifth. Or, what is heard by the teacher Vajradhara is hearing. Here, even the one Bhagavan Vajradhara, because of the nature of all, for the sake of the form of many, this is what should be taught, and the teacher, and the teaching are not contradictory. Thus, this is also not contradictory. Even in many, the Bhagavan himself should understand here. The speaker is me, the Dharma is also me, the listener is me, complete with my retinue. Etc. Or, "Thus I have heard" is how the four syllables of Evam Maya are perfectly accomplished. Thus, it is connected to "the Bhagavan dwells." The meaning is like this: the Bhagavan dwells on the nature of Evam Maya. Thus it is said. What is the nature of the syllables of Evam Maya?

Now, regarding the nature of what is called the Bhagavan, this nature should be declared. Ai (Tibetan, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, literal Chinese meaning: Oh) should be known as earth. The action mudra is also the eye-mother. Great loving one, possessing great skillful means. Mother of various forms, generating various forms. In the sixty-four lotus petals, it abides in the nirmanakaya wheel. Vam (Tibetan, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Wang) should be known as water. The dharma mudra is Mamaki. The aspect of compassion and aspiration. The goddess follows the vajra family. In the eight-petaled lotus in the heart, it truly abides in the dharma wheel. Ma (Tibetan, Devanagari: मा, Romanized Sanskrit: mā, literal Chinese meaning: Ma) is said to be fire. The great mudra is the white-clad mother. Through the union of joy and power, the goddess is the mother of the lotus family. In the two eight-petaled lotus petals at the throat, it abides in the sambhogakaya wheel. Ya (Tibetan, Devanagari: य, Romanized Sanskrit: ya, literal Chinese meaning: Ya) is said to be wind. Completely destroying all afflictions. That great samaya mudra, the goddess follows the karma family. Through equanimity wisdom yoga, Tara is the mother who liberates from samsara. Thirty-two lotus petals, in the great bliss great wheel. Thus, it is sealed with the four mudras. "Abiding" means the place of dwelling. Here it is said, "The solid dharma is earth, moving is widely known as wind, because of moisture it is the water element, from agitation fire arises," and so on. Or, these Ai Vam (Tibetan, Devanagari: ऐवं, Romanized Sanskrit: aivaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Oh Wang) are skillful means and wisdom. It is also said, "Ai (Tibetan, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, literal Chinese meaning: Oh) is the declaration of wisdom, Vam (Tibetan, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Wang) becomes skillful means. Ai (Tibetan, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, literal Chinese meaning: Oh) makes the woman beautiful, she is adorned by Vam (Tibetan, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Wang). Entering equally above and below, skillful means and wisdom increase. Ai (Tibetan, Devanagari: ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit: ai, literal Chinese meaning: Oh) itself and Vam (Tibetan, Devanagari: वं, Romanized Sanskrit: vaṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Wang) itself, each is declared as two. What I have heard, great desire, truly abides in this transformation." Thus. Also, when is this heard and abided in? In order to determine the time, it is said, "At one time," and so on. "At one time" means not two, nor many. "One" means not together. "Time" means the duration. It also has three aspects, namely the time of happiness, the time of suffering, and the inconceivable time. Desire and non-desire are the time of happiness and the time of suffering. Of those,
