Fifth, Explanation of the Chapter on Suchness. Fifth, Explanation of the Chapter on Suchness. Now, from there, let us explain the chapter on Suchness. There are four Suchnesses: the Suchness of Self, the Suchness of Mantra, the Suchness of Deity, and the Suchness of Wisdom. In the Vajra family chapter, it is the Suchness of Self. In the Mantra chapter, it is the Suchness of Mantra. In the Deity chapter, it is the Suchness of Deity. In the Empowerment chapter, it is the Suchness of Wisdom. Thus, the four Suchnesses are explicitly stated, and the four are inseparable. From this, it is extremely pure, and it is taught to fully reveal the wisdom of Dharmadhatu, Vajradhara himself. "From there," means immediately and continuously, the chapter on Suchness will be fully explained. Therefore, it is said, "Essence is without form," meaning one's own form is essence. Whatever the form of something is, that is its form, and that is its essence. There is nothing there. Likewise, in the Prajnaparamita, when form itself is devoid of the nature of form, feeling itself, perception itself, formations themselves, and when consciousness itself is devoid of the nature of consciousness, and so on. "Seeing is also absent," meaning seeing is also absent by its own nature of seeing. This is the first chapter, the Suchness of Self. "Sound is absent, and the hearer is also absent." Thus, everything should be connected with "by nature" everywhere. Sound is absent by the nature of sound. Hearing is absent by the nature of hearing. This is the Mantra chapter, the Suchness of Mantra. "Odor is absent, and the smeller is also absent." Connect it in the same way. Odor is the object of the nose sense, and the nose sense is dissolved into the Nadi, and the mind is embraced by Nada. Therefore, with the three Suchnesses, it is the Deity chapter, the Suchness of Deity. "Taste is absent, and the taster is also absent." Taste is the characteristic of experiencing. This is also the Empowerment chapter, the Suchness of Wisdom. "Touch is absent, and the toucher is also absent." This is because of the nature of the aggregation of the four Suchnesses. From joy to special joy is touch. "Mind is absent, and what arises from mind is also absent." Co-emergent joy is beyond the realm of mind.

Also, the sixth Vajradhara. Or, with the four such as 'by nature formless,' they are those very four. These two are distinguished by wisdom and means. 'No touch, no toucher; no mind, no mental events,' this is a summary of those very four. Thus, because there is no order, form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and the realm of phenomena, i.e., the six objects; and eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind, i.e., these six faculties, to completely abandon the examination that these are of the nature of the three realms, 'The arising one and the sister, always worship with yogic intellect. Whoever is the mother, the Vajra Mother, the Candala woman, likewise the Brahmin woman, with the ritual of means and wisdom, always worship her with joy.' The meaning of this is very easy to understand. Or, the word 'arising' refers to the five objects such as form, because it gives rise to beings. Because this saying appears weak in manifestation, the faculties such as the eye will arise. The word 'sister' refers to the five faculties such as the eye, because it shows fortune. 'The wisdom sister' is so called, from the saying that the five faculties such as the eye hold the five objects such as form. Both are yoga, and because it is intellect, it is yogic intellect. Always, at all times, worship with immeasurable measure, and closely enjoy with a non-dual aspect, this is blessing the vajra and lotus. This also shows the blessing of the eye and so on, and because what arises from the meeting of faculty and object is consciousness, it also symbolizes the blessing of the three bodies. The dancer, the Dharma woman, the Vajra woman, the Candala woman, and the Brahmin woman, these who possess the parts of the five families, should be worshiped and practiced. How to worship? 'With the ritual of means and wisdom.' That is, with the nature of means and wisdom, realizing that object and faculty are inseparable. Therefore, the joy of that is truly following that. Because of this cause, truly knowing one's own nature as it is, therefore, 'No form, no seer,' and so on, 'No mind, no mental events.'
