I (referring to) rakshasas, etc., also inflict punishments of kings, etc. Attachment, etc., are the six afflictions, because they are closely associated with attachment. Therefore, it is said that those do not cause harm to the practitioner. The practitioner is the affliction. This is because sins are eliminated. Therefore, generate the meaning of perfecting the perfection of patience. It is not the ripening of the fruits of ordinary karma, but because of its purity. Or, because of karma accustomed to purity, the characteristics of fear, etc., are manifestly seen, which means that the fruits are enjoyed here. In order to show the samadhi of forbearance in the Dharma, it is said, "Thus," etc. "Thus" is the meaning of the word "as it is." How can the obstacles of fear, etc., and afflictions such as attachment, etc., not cause harm? Likewise, the yogi, even for a moment, cries out in fear. It means, how is one born in hot hells, etc., and abides but does not abide? It is said that those (karmas) are not harmed by the karma of being born in hells, etc., suffering, and the obstacles of maturation. If purity itself is the non-doer of everything, why does it not abide? Therefore, it is said, "निश्चितं (藏文:ངེས་པར་ཤེས་,梵文天城体:निश्चितं,梵文罗马拟音:niścitaṃ,汉语字面意思: निश्चितं)" etc. Benefit means beneficial to those. Harm means the opposite. Those are the fruits that arise in this way. Because pure karma produces beneficial fruits, this is a common word. Or, the fruit of that karma, or, The two who are the doers enjoy, know that it is without self-nature, and the discriminating mind does not abide. Because afflictions will be exhausted, that is born of such thought. How does the yogi who abides in hell, although abiding, not abide? In order to prevent this, it is said, "Five inexpiable sins," etc. The five inexpiable sins are killing one's mother, killing one's father, killing an arhat, causing dissension in the sangha, and drawing blood from the body of the Buddha with malicious intent. Inexpiable sin means going directly to hell after death.

The declaration of the ground: Therefore, there are the five inexpiable sins. Obstructing karma in such a way is to delight in killing. Therefore, here, killing is shown with five aspects. Furthermore, "inferior rebirth" refers to others who possess the obscuration of rebirth. "Ignorance" refers to possessing the obscuration of knowledge. "Performing unwholesome actions" means becoming a preta due to performing harmful actions such as taking what is not given. "Ugly form, incomplete limbs," where ugly form is unfit to be seen. Incomplete limbs means being deficient in eyes and so on, meaning having become an inferior form. How are all these born? They abide in the eight states of unfreedom. Even so, not doing restraint, through discipline and becoming accustomed to skillful means, the siddhi of Mahamudra will be attained. Therefore, it is said, "Those will be accomplished." It is said that accomplishment will be achieved by doing the ten virtues. "The ten virtues" and so on, where "reverence for the lama" means relying on the lama even by offering body and life. In this way, it should also be regarded as teaching to attend and serve the lama. "Subduing the senses" refers to the senses of excellent characteristics such as the first, diligence, mindfulness, and samadhi. Those who are subdued and endowed with them. In order to establish all the times of conduct, it is said, "Always" and so on.
