Thus and so on. 'Earth from that' means that all phenomena are selfless, and from that arises a nature like a spark, and earth and so on arise in the form of illusion and so on, so it is intended. Therefore, it is related to 'the five completely surround'. Therefore, and so on, why is it that great arising is blissful? It is said that it is not divided by one and many, etc., therefore it is not that. Or the bliss that is realized from the union of two senses is a great arising. That itself is similar to Suchness. However, it is said that it is not that because it has not been examined. Suchness is co-emergent. What is Suchness? It is said, 'co-emergent' and so on, that the statement of the co-emergent joy of the supreme ones arises from those. Also, this co-emergent joy is realized in this way from habituation, and when it manifests. At that time, it does not revert to the nature of karma and affliction. If habituation is not perfected and ultimate, then karma and affliction will surely arise again. Therefore, again, what is co-emergent? It is said, 'nature' and so on, that the essence of the aggregates and so on is nature. Also, the Dharmadhatu is the aspect of all, because the mind that appears as the aggregates and so on is gathered into one. 'All aspects are gathered into one', thus it is co-emergent. Compassion and means, means is closeness, from those who are in accordance with the Dharma, it becomes a branch of the meditation of one's own essence. Also, means is taken as the nature of discrimination, and also from the difference of intelligence, the mind that focuses on sentient beings, compassion is like means, for those who are attached to appearances, having compassion is a conventional term, so it is intended. Therefore, it is said, 'The seal is free from cause'. 'Free from cause' means free from cause and so on. Wisdom emptiness is the seal. To clarify its meaning, it is said, 'empty' and so on, that the nature of all phenomena is empty, so those are also empty by nature, and so is compassion. All phenomena, that nature is empty by discrimination.

Indivisible, because that is its nature. If those are indivisible and non-individual, what is it? It is said: Bodhicitta, bodhi is non-dual wisdom. Mind is that which possesses a mind that grasps things as merely the nature of illusion and so forth. Therefore, it is both bodhi and mind, so it is bodhicitta, related to the well-spoken wisdom that possesses the nature of skillful means and wisdom, the word "related" clarifies the meaning. The word bodhicitta is an external meaning. Ultimately, it is realization from the guru's oral instructions, and the way of realizing from oneself. Therefore, there is not even a little bit of other transformation such as recitation, as it is said, mantra-less and so forth. If one attains bodhi in that way, then it is said: That itself is mantra and so forth. That is also together with the mind previously spoken of, as it is said, gathered together with the mind of emptiness and that itself, similarly, gathered into the mind by the nature of skillful means and wisdom. Its embodied form is mantra recitation and so forth, mantra recitation and so forth are not non-existent in any way. Although that is so, the nature of what is grasped and what grasps and so forth does not exist, abiding in the absence of manifest clinging itself, it is thought that perfect bodhi is attained by that alone. This verse is the fifth fire lamp. Those are the tenth chapter, the chapter on empowerment, from the Explanatory Tantra of Hevajra. Tenth, Chapter on Empowerment.
