Extensive Explanation of the Melody of Praise to the Bhagavan Glorious Vajradhara Śāntarakṣita Extensive Explanation of the Melody of Praise to the Bhagavan Glorious Vajradhara Śāntarakṣita In Sanskrit: Śrīvajradharasaṃgītabhagavatīstotratīkā. In Tibetan: Extensive Explanation of the Melody of Praise to the Bhagavan Glorious Vajradhara. Homage to Mañjughoṣa! If there is praise, the wisdom of the virtuous and excellent ones, and the desired fruit of words, it is difficult to find its entrance. To the noble, gentle-voiced one, whose qualities are like the sky, limitless, and pure, I always pay homage. Unequaled, unmoving, possessing the supreme Dharma of equality. Such praises are also primarily supplications, as at the end: Grant me the accomplishment of the three supreme samayas of all. Thus it is praised. Who are those worthy of supplicating for the supreme siddhis? Those who are of the nature of complete purity, who have become subject to great love, who perform the two fruits of love. Those who possess qualities in accordance with that are the ones, those of the nature of complete purity cannot even benefit themselves. Even if one is of the nature of complete purity, if one is without great compassion, one will not accomplish great benefit for others, like the self-victors. Even if one possesses great compassion, if one lacks the qualities that accord with its fruit, because of being powerless, if one does not perform the removal of harm and the accomplishment of benefit, which are the fruits of love, then at that time it becomes a diversion from supplication, for sentient beings, in order to remove the burden of self-nature. One does not supplicate to the crippled and the blind, and so on. Therefore, in order to know that one is of the nature of complete purity. Unequaled, unmoving, possessing the supreme Dharma of equality. Thus it is said. In order to show that one has become the foremost of love. The nature of compassion. Thus it is said. In order to declare the performance of the two fruits of compassion. The suffering of beings ༄། །Remove. Thus it is said. Qualities are all equal, limitless, grant siddhis. Thus it is said. Possessing qualities in accordance with the two fruits of compassion

In order to thoroughly reveal, the immaculate, immovable, unequaled, supreme Dharma. Thus it is said, this is the meaning of the summary. The words are distinguished as follows: That which is unequaled and also immovable is therefore unequaled and immovable. That which is both unequaled and immovable is also equality, so it is said, such equality is the supreme Dharma. Those who have it are called that, this shows the Dharmakaya of the Thusness of the Tathagatas. Among them, the unequaled is without comparison because it is free from all adventitious defilements and has reached the perfection of complete purity. There is no equal or similar to anyone. There is nothing equal or similar to this, so it is unequaled. This explains that Thusness is completely pure without being inverted. Shaking is changing to another. Because there is no shaking, it is immovable, meaning that at all times, it does not deviate from the extremely pure nature of the non-dual Dharma. This explains that it is completely accomplished by being immutable. The essence of equals is equality, and nothing deviates from the nature of emptiness. Therefore, by this nature, all dharmas are of one taste and equal in emptiness. This is both supreme and Dharma, so it is the supreme Dharma, because it can be known by reason and clear teachings. Thusness is inseparable from reason. How is it? Because it holds the nature of being free from the characteristics of what is to be known and what is to be known, and because it holds that, it is also Dharma. In another way, the supreme of the supreme Dharma, if it is cultivated in this way, it can also bring the perfection of abandoning all obstacles, and it can also obtain the wealth of all qualities. Moreover, if emptiness pervades all sentient beings, why is it called the Dharmakaya of the Tathagatas alone? Because it is extremely pure, it only appears in their continuum, while in others, it is obscured by obstacles and does not appear, so it is similar to non-existence. Those who have the nature of great compassion are those who have the nature of great compassion, and their's is countless eons.
