When eating, pass the food from the right hand to the left hand, and then bring it to the mouth with the left hand. Visualize that this offering satisfies and pleases the deities residing in the heart and navel. After eating, contaminate the leftovers with saliva and recite: 'Om, Ucchista, Baling, Ta, Bhaksha, Svaha Om, O Leftover, Offering, You Eat, Svaha)', offering it to the spirits who have power over the leftovers.' After reciting, give away the leftovers. The yoga of Torma (Torma) is: visualize the Torma as the flesh and blood of curses, and offer it according to the Torma ritual. Place the Thun Torma above the practice room or towards the enemy, and visualize inviting all the Dharma protectors to come and perform the actions of killing and cutting. Afterwards, gather the Dharma protectors back into oneself. If practicing the Completion Stage, then gather in stages as in the sleeping yoga, In the state where Nada is invisible, abide in emptiness. Like a fish leaping out of the water, from the bondage of thoughts, instantly transform into Mahakala. Afterwards, dedicate the merit. Thus, if one practices this protection wheel with compassion and diligence, at four times of the day, etc., the best will directly see the Mahakala deity, the intermediate will see a black bird or a black person, and will directly see sounds, lights, and Acharya, and will directly see the flames of the Torma. The lowest will dream of Mahakala, the Lama, the virtuous friend, the official, the mistress, a woman adorned with ornaments, a black person, a black bird, a black dog, Mongols such as Bandhe, Acharya, etc., these are signs of approaching accomplishment. In addition, raising prayer flags, blowing conch shells, sunrise and moonrise, etc., are signs of accomplishment. Living in castles and fortresses, holding weapons, are signs of being protected. Slaughtering yaks and other livestock, Mongols driving away, hunting jackals and wild animals, cutting down trees, splitting rocks, are signs of subduing. Killing jackals and other evil things, appointing one's own generals, are signs of repelling enemy troops. The Lama is displeased, wrathful deities appear, officials and servants fight among themselves, Acharya is angry with oneself, these are signs of averting. At this time, the protection wheel is crucial. A woman crying, wearing inauspicious ornaments, the deity is silent, the weapons are blunt, the raven makes an evil sound, a leper appears, these are signs of decline, one should confess. 'As the noble one said, if the above signs appear, repeat the recitation three times, then it will surely be a true sign.' This protection wheel of Vajrakila Mahakala, the profound oral instruction like a vajra rock fortress, is as precious as the blood in the heart. This Dharma is extremely profound and exceedingly special, in order to keep it secret from those who do not have vows and are not vessels, and to keep it secret from those who practice the profound secret mantra on their own without relying on a Lama.

Preface: Although it seems that the Lamas reside in secret places, in this degenerate age of the five impurities, what need is there to speak of requesting and relying on oral instruction Lamas? Even their names are not known. Those who presume to know a little, besides their self-created exaggerations, have not seen any benefit. To prevent the loss of profound oral instructions, offerings and prayers are made to the Lamas and special Dharma protectors, with the sole intention of benefiting the Dharma and sentient beings. Furthermore, at the urging of many close Geshes, great Vajra Holders, and excellent Dharma friends, especially Rinchen Namdrol, Considering the benefit of the lineage and disciples, the extremely secret oral instructions, the practice of Dorje Drakdzongma (Vajra Rock Fortress), were imparted without any concealment. These include the wrathful ten deity protection wheel of Gonpo (Mahakala) composed by Kar Shakya Drak, and the verses of oral instructions on the protection, repulsion, and subjugation of the Great Black One (Mahakala) composed by Choskyi Gyalpo Phagpa Rinpoche, all given to Dhampa Kunga Drak. Also included are the profound and concise verses of oral instructions on the protection wheel etc. composed by Lachen Södlo, and relying on the Vajra Rock Fortress protection wheel etc. composed by Sa lo Thamschad Khyenpa. Furthermore, it is adorned with the oral tradition and practical experience of other holy Lamas. The root Lama with impartial great compassion, the kind Sa lo Tsawa Jamyang Kunga Sonam Drakpa Gyaltsen Palzangpo, Jamyang Namkha Sangye, Yongzin Konchok Lhundrup, Drubchen Palden Tashi, Chennga Ngawang Chökyi Drakpa, and many other infallible tutors, whose feet dust was taken on the crown of the head and followed by the Sakya mantra holder Ngagi Wangpo Kunga Rinchen. On the auspicious month of the Wood Ox year (Tibetan calendar), on the special day of the twenty-ninth, when Dakinis gather, abundant offerings and Torma were prepared in the upper story of Lhakhang Chenmo, in the delightful garden of Potala. If there are any faults in this, I beseech the Lamas and the assembly of protectors to forgive, and may it benefit the Dharma and sentient beings! By the merit of writing this, like the flow of the Ganges River, may all yogis who diligently practice the profound teachings of the Vajrayana, have their obstacles pacified and completely attain all siddhis! Mangalamastu sarva jagatam. May there be auspiciousness! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
