The Sambhogakaya of light: The obscurations that dwell in the compassion bindu and awareness of imputation are separated, and the Nirmanakaya becomes manifest. Among these, the second is distinguished by the five wisdoms. The dharmadhatu is obscured by form and delusion; the mirror-like wisdom by hatred and consciousness; the wisdom of equality by pride and feeling; the discriminating wisdom by perception and desire; and the accomplishing wisdom by action and jealousy. From the result of separation from these obscurations, their respective essences become manifest. Furthermore, the alaya obscures the dharmadhatu; consciousness obscures the mirror-like wisdom; mind obscures the wisdom of equality; afflicted mind obscures the discriminating wisdom; and the five senses obscure the accomplishing wisdom. From the result of separation from these obscurations, their respective qualities become clear. Second, by what cause is separation achieved? By equally abiding in the meaning of luminosity and emptiness in the completion stage and trekchö; thereby realizing the wisdom of emptiness of essence and the immutable vajra; by the generation stage and tögal realizing self-luminous nature and manifest enlightenment; by the display of the Sambhogakaya of luminosity and the accompanying; through the manifestations of various samadhi meditations and the feet of miraculous powers, realizing the dharmakaya of all-pervading compassion, as it is and as many as there are; and from that power, the activities of the four forms of the Nirmanakaya and so forth, realizing the cause of separation with mastery over unobstructed benefit for beings. Furthermore, from the perspective of self-luminous nature, explaining from the inner divisions: by the mirror-like wisdom that grasps the words and meaning of the Dharma; by cultivating the mind of equality and bodhichitta towards all sentient beings, thereby realizing equality; by teaching the Dharma to others, thereby realizing discriminating wisdom; by doing things for the benefit of others, thereby realizing accomplishment; by meditating on the meaning of self-nature alone, thereby realizing the dharmadhatu; by hearing, contemplating, and meditating on the meaning of the union of the two truths, thereby realizing the wisdom of as it is and as many as there are; these manifest as the body and pure lands of symbolic mudras and so forth, adorned with inconceivable appearances, also manifesting as the enjoyment of the Buddha's self-appearance, and from that play, the Nirmanakaya is spontaneously accomplished. Third, what result becomes manifest? Realizing the meaning of the union of emptiness of essence, free from all elaboration, and the dharmadhatu wisdom; realizing the meaning of self-luminous nature, unobstructed, transcending color, shape, and name; the wisdom of all-pervading compassion, looking inward as it is and as many as there are; realizing the wisdom of the nature of phenomena and the peaceful aspect of dharmata, profound and clear.

Moreover, the unelaborated manifests, and the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu exists in all that is knowable; because it is free from elaboration yet not singular, therefore, it is realized in the nature beyond expression and thought. The mirror-like wisdom produces various images of omniscience; naturally luminous, it is realized without contrivance or effort; the wisdom of equality comprehends all phenomena as devoid of characteristics, and realizes happiness and suffering as of one taste; the wisdom of discernment realizes all the perfections of samsara and nirvana, as well as the knowable phenomena with causes and effects, without confusing the general and specific characteristics. The all-pervasive wisdom of great compassion, outwardly, realizes the realms, faculties, intentions, skillful paths, causes, and effects of countless beings; inwardly, it realizes the purity of suchness, the baselessness like space; these two are not contradictory, in the order of the two truths, it teaches the Dharma of abandoning and adopting, of existence and non-existence, teaching the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma, etc.; with emanations that tame beings accordingly, until samsara is empty, it accomplishes the benefit of beings without obstruction. Third, the explanation of the deeds of activity: vastness; diversity and multitude; constancy and longevity; great power; and not exceeding the time, these five. First: being equal to space, boundless and limitless, pervading all the abodes and lineages of sentient beings, effortlessly and spontaneously accomplishing all matters of benefit and happiness. Second: it is not just like one way, body, speech, and mind are inconceivable, and all forms of body, miraculous powers; of speech, subsequent teachings; of mind, constantly speaking of various miracles, in the path of the nine vehicles, etc., in the measure of determining various differences in quantity; as well as the Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya; peaceful and wrathful, subtle and various forms, and the four activities of the Nirmanakaya, the means of taming through pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating spontaneously accomplished; in the order of methods of benefit and happiness, wielding power over inconceivable activities. Third: the distinction of time, until samsara is not empty, the vastness and continuity are uninterrupted, without effort, free from obstruction, spontaneously arising.
