For the object of mind, there is no limit or partiality, as it says itself: "The essence remains unchanged in the body, The three bodies are inseparable, Residing as the basis for all appearances, Without the distinction of marks or limbs, The five lights of clear nature, Reside in the form of a youthful vase body, Without attachment to color distinctions. In the wisdom of compassion and awareness, Spontaneously accomplished, yet knowledge is unceasing, Though individually clear, they become dual, Yet are not objects of action and agent." It also says: "The essence of awareness abides in the five bodies, The body is appearance, devoid of characteristics, The radiance of wisdom, the union of emptiness and clarity, The essence is pure from the beginning. The three bodies are merely the basis, Without the formation of face or limbs. If there were mouth, eyes, ears, and nose, Material form, mind, duality, etc., would exist. Material form is common among the six realms, The immaterial is the four formless realms. If marks arise, it is not primordial purity, It is the five bodies of great emptiness and clarity. The essence of the five bodies is the five wisdoms, The radiance of wisdom shines forth." Furthermore, as it says in the "Lotus Swirling Tantra": "Initially, samsara did not arise due to non-realization; before the arising of the enlightened Buddha, the Buddha who purified the two obscurations and accumulated the two accumulations was regarded as having a mouth, eyes, ears, and nose, but in reality, he does not abide in such a way. So what is it? It is the awareness Samantabhadra, abiding in essence, nature, and compassion." Therefore, regarding the essence and the way of abiding, since they cannot be measured by thought and differentiated, it is said in "Vast Expanse of Clarity": "All that is divided by number and category, Follows after names and words, Because it is delusion, it obscures the true meaning." Second, eliminating extremes: divided into common and uncommon. Generally speaking: with the key point of the nature of reality being free from elaboration, eliminating duality and, causes and conditions and, hopes and fears and, defilements and, all extremes of permanence and annihilation, as well as self and others, and similarities and dissimilarities with emptiness, liberating from these. As it says in the "Tantra of the Great Luminosity of All-Illuminating Bindu": "Eliminating others, by abiding in awareness, eliminate matter; by abiding in emptiness, eliminate things; by being non-dual, eliminate duality; by being self-arisen, eliminate causes and conditions; by being spontaneously accomplished, eliminate hopes and fears; by being pure, eliminate defilements; by being non-existent, eliminate the extreme of annihilation of existence; by being existent, eliminate the extreme of permanence of non-existence. Hey! Vajra holder, listen! The general outline of the basis of true meaning is"

Returning from what is similar to oneself, being similar only in awareness, it also returns from the eight aggregates. How is it liberated? Because there is no increase or decrease, it is liberated from the alaya consciousness. Because there is no self-grasping, it is liberated from the afflicted mind. Because there is no grasper and grasped, it is liberated from the mind. Because there is no birth and cessation, it is liberated from the five sense consciousnesses. O secret lord! It also returns from what is similar to emptiness, it is not the naturally pure sky with color, nor is it the sky with habitual seeds. O great bodhisattva, listen! It also returns from what is dissimilar, it is not matter dissimilar to awareness; nor is it a real thing made up of the four internal and external elements that are dissimilar to emptiness. Son of lineage, through this great meaning, it should be known that it returns from both. It is free from clinging to things that are not both. Thus it is said. Secondly, the way to specifically eliminate extremes by distinguishing the three inseparable wisdoms: The essence is emptiness, it does not abide in the names and elaborations of thought and speech, and eliminates the extreme of permanence with inseparable emptiness and clarity; The nature is clear and empty, the two are inseparable, and the inherent and spontaneous accomplishment without obstruction eliminates the cause, condition, and extreme of annihilation; Compassion transcends the division of one and many, and the inseparable awareness and emptiness pervades samsara and nirvana, thus transcending the extreme of duality and non-duality. In 《Longsal》: From the perspective of emptiness, it is free from the extreme of permanence; From the perspective of clarity, it is free from the extreme of annihilation; From the perspective of clarity and emptiness, it is free from grasping; The original pure clarity and emptiness pervades; There is no nature that has been made by anyone; That is the original general basis. It is said. In 《Longchen Rabjam》: Essence emptiness is free from names; Nature is originally clear and free from causes and conditions; Compassion is all-pervasive and free from divisions; Essence is originally pure and free from the object of expression; Nature is spontaneously accomplished and completely perfect in every way; Compassion is all-pervasive and self-arising. Essence emptiness is free from the extreme of permanence; Nature clarity is free from the annihilation of grasping; Compassion pervasive is free from the extreme of duality; In the essence of emptiness and clarity, there is no duality; Nature clarity and emptiness are inseparable; Compassion awareness and emptiness are inseparable; Essence is the body, nature is light; Compassion is awareness and wisdom. It is said. Secondly, the way it becomes the bardo of samsara and nirvana is: Such an uncreated original basis does not fall into either side of samsara and nirvana, and because it abides as if in the middle, it is also the bardo of samsara and nirvana.
