There is such a story. Once, when he and some attendants were returning on horseback from the valley called Dragyong near the monastery, the horse was startled. He fell from the horse and said "A ra ra" several times. The attendants quickly rushed to his side and asked if he was unwell. He said, "I am not unwell, but the unfortunate me uttered a cowardly sound, which echoed throughout heaven and earth." Then he left. Now, in that place, one can see the naturally occurring shape of the letter "A" (ཨ་，梵文天城体：अ，梵文罗马音：a，literal meaning: A) on the ground, and the naturally occurring letter "Ra" (ར་，梵文天城体：र，梵文罗马音：ra，literal meaning: Ra) in the sky. For a period of time, it is said that many Han Chinese troops from the upper regions came and destroyed many monasteries, causing serious damage to Buddhism.
