Forty-six becomes doubled. Therefore, first, for the meaning of the mandala, the ground should be divided into sixteen parts. Then, in the four outer directions, discard four parts each, discarding eight parts on both sides, and it becomes the meaning of the speech mandala. Then, draw a line in the center of each part of the speech mandala, and transform those eight parts into sixteen parts. Those sixteen parts become six half-fingers. From those parts, for the meaning of the mind mandala, discard four parts in the east, and similarly, discard in the west, north, and south as well, and then draw a line in the center of the remaining eight core parts, transforming them into sixteen parts. In that mind mandala, those sixteen parts become three half-fingers. Thus, what is called "change of wealth and time" is forty-eight half-fingers, that is, sixteen parts with the nature of three half-fingers. In those parts, starting from the line of Brahma, the two parts each of the north, south, east, and west are spoken by the Bhagavan for the meaning of the four doors of the mind mandala. Similarly, the four parts of three half-fingers are spoken for the meaning of the door of the speech mandala. Similarly, the eight parts of three half-fingers are spoken for the meaning of the door of the body mandala, so that for the mind, speech, and body mandalas, each with the measure of its own mandala, the door becomes one-eighth of the mandala. The mandala should also be recognized at the boundary of the first enclosure. All three mandalas are the same. Starting from the line of Brahma, discarding two half-fingers each in the north, south, east, and west, lines should be drawn for the meaning of the seat of the main deity at the center of the core lotus, and for the meaning of the lotus seat of the deities in the four directions and doors. Then, in the directions of north, south, east, and west, what is called "water treasure," that is, four half-fingers, becomes the petals of the lotus, and the main lotus is three times larger than the seats of the other gods and goddesses. Thus, in the place of Brahma, what is called "rays of the sun," that is, twelve half-fingers, is the lotus of the Bhagavan. One-third of the lotus is the center, that is, it becomes four half-fingers, this is certain. The directions
