These are all "expansion," which means the mandalas of the navel, heart, throat, forehead, crown, and nostrils are expanded by the distinctions of the mandalas of sticks, houses, hours, constellations, dates, and directions. Energy is the life energy that moves, and the supreme place is without object. The end of twelve is the end of twelve fingers. The end of a part is the end of sixteen fingers. Here, the wind of the earth mandala completely descends, running from the nostrils to the end of twelve fingers, and then returns. The wind of the water mandala runs thirteen fingers and then returns. The wind of the fire mandala runs fourteen fingers and then returns. The wind of the wind mandala runs fifteen fingers and then returns. The wind of the emptiness mandala runs sixteen fingers and then returns. The wind of the wisdom mandala, at the end of the earth mandala, completely enters into their center, descending twelve fingers from the two nostrils. At the end of space, entering the central channel, it descends sixteen fingers. Here, when it grows outward, it becomes short inward. When it becomes short outward from sixteen and so on, due to the power of the wind channel, the navel grows four fingers, which is the certainty of the descent of life energy.
