The Dhāraṇī Called "Accomplishment Through the Noble Limitless Gate" The Dhāraṇī Called "Accomplishment Through the Noble Limitless Gate" In Sanskrit: Ārya-ananta-mukha-sādhaka-nāma-dhāraṇī. In Tibetan: འཕགས་པ་སྒོ་མཐའ་ཡས་པས་སྒྲུབ་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་གཟུངས། (The Dhāraṇī Called "Accomplishment Through the Noble Limitless Gate"). Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Thus have I heard. Once, the Blessed One was dwelling in the great grove, in the palace of the tiered mansion in the great grove in the city of Vaiśālī, together with a great Saṃgha of eight thousand monks and many Bodhisattva-Mahāsattvas. At that time, after these three months had passed, the Tathāgata would completely pass into Nirvāṇa. The Blessed One, with mindfulness and awareness, relinquished the life-sustaining activities. Then, the Blessed One addressed the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana, saying: "Mahāmaudgalyāyana, go and gather all the monks who dwell in the thousandfold world-system into this palace of the tiered mansion in the great grove." Then, the venerable Mahāmaudgalyāyana replied to the Blessed One, saying: "So be it, Blessed One." Having listened to the Blessed One, in that very instant, by the power of his own miraculous abilities, he sat on the summit of Mount Meru and made the thousandfold world-system hear his voice, saying: "Whoever are disciples of the Sugata and sentient beings, Listen all who dwell in this world-system. Today the Teacher will shower the rain of Dharma, Whoever wishes to listen, come here!" At that time, forty thousand monks gathered in the palace of the tiered mansion in the great grove. Having arrived, they saw the Blessed One, bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, and then sat down on one side. Then, the venerable Śāriputra, by the power of the Buddha, in that very instant, thought to himself: "By whatever miraculous manifestation I might manifest, in the great thousandfold world-system, whether there are Śrāvakas, Pratyekabuddhas, or Mahāyāna practitioners, all the monks who dwell there, I will gather them all into the palace of the tiered mansion in the great grove.

Like that gathering in the pavilion, like that manifesting miraculous powers, I think manifesting miraculous powers will not be wrong. Then, the venerable Shariputra manifested such miraculous powers. When he manifested those miraculous powers, all the monks in the three thousand great thousand worlds, whether they were of the Hearer Vehicle, the Solitary Buddha Vehicle, or the Great Vehicle, gathered in a pavilion in a large garden. They came to the Blessed One, bowed their heads at the feet of the Blessed One, then circumambulated the Blessed One three times, and sat down on one side.
