Anoint one's own body with the king of ghee, smear the body with powder, apply eye medicine to the eyes, put on a tilaka, bind the head with jewels, and also tie ornaments on the neck, arms, shoulders, and waist, and scatter a mixture of mustard powder and vermilion in the four directions of the mountain. With one's left hand holding a rope and a lotus, and the right hand holding the pure mudra of the great Amoghapāśa that sees all appearances. If one recites the Amoghapāśa dhāraṇī once, as it is taught in the Amoghapāśa Sūtra, one will see the palace of Mount Potala. The vidyādhara will also appear as the form of the noble Avalokiteśvara.
