Lā laṃ kṛta. Kara tala. Dhyāna samādhi vimokṣa aprākampya. Bahu sattva sanatati paripācaka. Mahā kāruṇika. Sarva karma āvaraṇi. Viśodhaka. Sarva vyādhi phra mocaka. Sarva āśā paripūraka. Sarva sattvā samāśvāsaka mo stute svāhā. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva, the noble Avalokiteśvara, merely by reciting this essence of the Amoghapāśa, this great assembly together with the mountains and forests shook in six ways. A great light appeared in the world. A great rain of divine flowers, utpala, padma, kumuda, puṇḍarīka, and mandarava flowers, fell to the level of the knees. The sounds of cymbals and drums also arose. The gods of the heavens also rained down ornaments and streamers upon the Bhagavan from the sky. The gods, nāgas, yakṣas, gandharvas, asuras, garuḍas, kinnaras, mahoragas, and the pure ones dwelling in the mandala of the assembly all gave praise, saying: "Well done! Well done! Greatly purified sentient beings, well done! Well done!" By merely reciting this wish-fulfilling jewel, the great essence of the Amoghapāśa, which is exceedingly difficult to obtain, and this king of detailed rituals for supreme accomplishment, a great rain of jewels will fall, they say. In particular, recite twenty-one times on butter and honey, apply it to the body and massage with your fingers, removing dirt from the body. Make a statue from dough, recite seven times, and strike it with a weapon to cut off poison, curses, and all secret mantras, and be liberated from all diseases. Great curses will also be destroyed. Recite twenty-one times on a protective cord, and similarly make knots to create great protection. All fears, frights, panics, and fears caused by elements will not be able to invade. Recite seven times on warm salt water and give it to eliminate abdominal diseases.
