Ritual for Forest Practice Ritual for Forest Practice If you wish to accomplish invisibility, bind the hand gesture of the unfailing lasso with your hands. Holding the lasso as instructed with your right and left hands, recite the heart essence of the unfailing lasso one hundred and eight times, and you will become invisible. Reciting it twice one hundred and eight times will allow you to walk in the sky. You will become a wheel-turning monarch of unfailing mantra holders. You will be completely surrounded by hundreds of thousands of mantra holders. You will live for ten million years. Your hair will curl slightly. Your strength and diligence will not be overcome by others. If you make offerings desiring rain, it will fall as much as you have prayed for. If you make offerings to prevent excessive rain, the rain will be stopped. To completely pacify all plagues, diseases, harm, injury, all conflicts, and all unpleasantness, the mantra holder should bathe well, wear clean clothes, take the lasso in hand, ascend to a high place, make the hand gesture of the unfailing lasso, tie the lasso, recite the heart essence of the unfailing lasso seven times in each of the four directions, and then throw the lasso. In front of the painted image, spread the mat for scriptures, facing it, recite the essence of the unfailing snare one thousand and eight times, throwing mustard seeds with each recitation onto the snare. After reciting one thousand and eight times, the snare becomes a burning wheel, rising into the sky, burning and spinning. Light will emanate from the upper body and crown of the vidyādhara. The image will emit the sound of "Good!" Then, the vidyādhara should strive to complete this vast ritual of the unfailing snare essence wheel-rope. Then, the vidyādhara makes a grand offering, reciting the unfailing wrathful king one thousand and eight times, after which the vidyādhara takes the snare. The left hand forms the wheel mudra, and the right hand relies on the snare mudra and the wheel posture to take the snare, reciting the essence of the unfailing snare, throwing it in four directions. Then, recite the wrathful king twenty-one times in ten directions. Then, consecrate one's own body.
