I place an object adorned with fruit on a lotus. By reciting the dharani, it is transformed into the form of the noble Avalokiteśvara. Then, I visualize that vase filled with a precious nectar lake. I imagine a white lotus arising from that water. On that lotus, I visualize the white seed syllable of the heart mantra of the noble Avalokiteśvara. I imagine that syllable transforming into the noble Avalokiteśvara, and I make offerings and praises. I pray that whatever I wish to accomplish may be accomplished. With many Amoghapāśa dhāraṇīs, I recite over that vase thirteen times without speaking other words. If the water from that vase is poured from the crown of that person's head, they will be liberated from obstacles and demons, etc. Dress him in clothes and pour from the crown of his head. At the time of pouring, both the reciter and the one being recited for should focus their minds single-pointedly on purifying the body inside and out, and on liberation from evil spirits and demons, and recite. The wet clothes should be discarded as a method of expelling misfortune. Put on clean white clothes, adorn the body with incense and flowers, etc., recite it once to protect the body, and also recite auspicious verses. Around the periphery of that mandala, also invoke and offer to the eight world protectors by reciting their respective names, and pray that whatever work is to be accomplished may be accomplished. Make offerings with one of the five types of offerings, and also give extensive torma offerings to all the bhūtas. If self-protection and boundary setting are done properly with that same Amoghapāśa dhāraṇī, that is also a type of activity to be done on the eighth day of the month. This ritual not only liberates from the aforementioned situations such as being afflicted by obstacles, but even if it is done for ordinary people, they will not be troubled by obstacles and curses in the future, they will not be affected by infectious diseases, they will become wealthy, and all their wishes will be fulfilled. The five precious substances are gold, coral, pearl, conch shell, and crystal. The five medicines are: Singh, Vyāghrī, Girikirni, Saha, and Sahadeva. The five grains are: barley, peas, rice, sesame, wheat, fenugreek, and lentils. The Amoghapāśa Heart Essence Dharani is complete. || Oṃ ye dharmā hetu prabhavā hetun teṣāṃ tathāgato hy avadat (Sanskrit: Oṃ ye dharmā hetu prabhavā hetun teṣāṃ tathāgato hy avadat, The Tathagata has revealed the cause of things that arise from a cause; and also their cessation.)
