In Sanskrit: Arya tathagatoshnisha sitatapatra aparajita mahapratyam gira parama siddha nama dharani. In Tibetan: The Dharani Called "The Supreme Accomplishment of the Great Repeller, the Invincible White Umbrella Arising from the Ushnisha of the Tathagata". Homage to all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Noble Hearers, and Solitary Realizers. Homage to the Bhagavati, the Invincible Ushnisha Queen. Thus have I heard. At one time, the Bhagavan was dwelling in the Heaven of the Thirty-Three, in the Good Dharma Hall, the gathering place of the gods, together with a great community of monks, a great community of Bodhisattvas, and the Lord of the Gods, Indra. At that time, the Bhagavan, seated upon the prepared seat, entered into the Samadhi called "Ushnisha Observation". As soon as he had entered into Samadhi, these secret mantra words arose from the center of the Bhagavan's Ushnisha. Homage to the Buddha! Homage to the Dharma! Homage to the Sangha!
