Ananda, whichever bhikkhu, bhikkhuni, upasaka, or upasika takes hold of this queen of vidya-mantras, the follower of secret mantras, and knows, sees, or acts according to how it is taught and understood, will be protected, rescued, taken care of, and made peaceful and happy for as long as they live. Ananda, by the command of the Buddhas, the Bhagavatas of the past, future, and present, this queen of vidya-mantras, the follower of secret mantras, should protect, rescue, and take care of the one named so-and-so.
