Unobstructed attainment will occur. All obscurations will be completely pacified. The pervasive lord eliminates all afflictions. Whoever holds this dharani, which pacifies afflictions, will attain the state of Samantabhadra and Vajrapani. The master of mantra holders will also attain it by hearing this. Shining brightly in all the worlds, the Bhagavan Vairochana, in the profound and unfathomable mandala, until this is heard, the spontaneously arising state of complete peace and subduing afflictions will not be attained. Having listened for the sake of complete purification, one will be completely purified immediately upon hearing. Therefore, it should be spoken by those who desire perfection and goodness. Having heard the dharani that cannot be overcome by others, which all the Buddhas have attained, in this cycle of existence, there will never be demonic activities or conflicts, no sorrow or strife. By abiding in the dharani, attainment will occur. Having attained the supreme place, the stainless wisdom of the Thubpa (Buddha), wherever the good seers have gone, one will go to that good destination. Those who desire goodness should listen to this essential sutra of words. For the purpose of exhausting afflictions, this dharani spoken by the Victorious Ones is supreme. Those who commit evil and hate virtue, who are extremely miserly in their evil nature, whoever hears this and abandons it, I will manifestly attain. Other evils should not be committed, and all previous ones should be confessed. By the power and strength of this supreme dharani, all sins will be purified. In other thousands of lifetimes, or even in hundreds of thousands of millions of kalpas, whatever sins and non-virtues have been committed will be purified without doubt. On the eighth day of the waxing moon, and likewise on the fifteenth day, having well taken the vows of fasting, and having offered to the Buddhas according to the ritual, then, without ignorance, completely destroying the enemy of afflictions, if one recites the dharani that averts faults, which is extremely difficult to subdue and unparalleled, one will definitely see the light of the moon of the face of the Thubpa (Buddha) blazing. Then, having perfected all the accumulations, one will become a son of the Victorious Ones. In the realm of Amitabha, adorned with infinite qualities, even in thousands of millions of kalpas, one will attain the unfathomable. Then, the words of Vajradhara, by those who dwell in the pure mandalas.
